Oris succeeds in catching the interest of men since its team is dedicated to delivering creative artistry. Artix GT includes a wristwatch, which is a classic item for macho men's wrist accessories. Pairing up with a skeleton grey dial and a silver round bezel, the chocolate brown calfskin leather belt features a well-defined design. The screw-down crown eliminates the chances of unintentional alteration of time settings. The transparent back case and luminous silver markers and hands amplify the handsomeness of this automatic wristwatch.

Revisiting an Icon: The Omega Flightmaster - Monochrome Watches
No one would argue that the most popular timepiece that ever came out from the halls of Bienne, Switzerland, was the 1969 Speedmaster. But on that same year, another icon was born, one of which was living under the shadows of its brethren, a manual-wound chronograph with a GMT-function, the original aviator piece from Omega, the Flightmaster. The Flightmaster is perhaps one of the few rarely known variants of the Speedmaster lineup that didn't carry the same name. A watch that was created to be the ultimate aviator watch of its era. First glance on the piece may be overwhelming for some, as it has a total of seven different hands performing different sets of task of simply telling the time and its variations. The relatively large case design makes it one of the bigger timepieces of that era. Measuring 42.6 mm case diameter without the crown, it is a huge timepiece to begin with. With a UFO shape like case and the absence of an outer bezel, this piece has vintage and classic written all
Henry Graves Patek Philippe Supercomplication set a new record of CHF 20,600,000 at Sotheby's auction - Monochrome-Watches
This record was predictable. The price too. But even if most of us were expecting a mind-blowing price, the amount of money offered yesterday for the Henry Graves Patek Philippe?Supercomplication remains something close to?indecency, as Sotheby’s hammered the most expensive watch to date for CHF 20,600,000 (before buyer’s premium). Now that we know the price, the big question is ‘Who’. Some clues to come.Let’s begin with the most important: figures. We told you, the?Henry Graves Patek Philippe Supercomplication just beat the previous record of?the most expensive watch ever sold. It was previously held by… that same pocket watch. It had already been auctioned in 1999, also by Sotheby’s, for USD 11,000,000. Ad - Scroll to continue with article Yesterday, 11 November 2014, it reached CHF 20,600,000 before buyer’s prem
Panerai releases two new Radiomir Composite models - PAM00504 and PAM00505 - Monochrome Watches
Today Panerai introduced two new Radiomir Composit models, the 47 mm large Radiomir Composite 3-Days PAM00504 and the?Radiomir Composite Black Seal 3-Days Automatic that measures 45 mm in diameter. The two stunning new models are made of Panerai Composite , a material that?was introduced into the world of Haute Horlogerie in 2010. They share many design elements that are used in other recent models like the Panerai PAM386 Luminor Composite Marina 1950 and the Panerai Luminor Marina 1950 3-days PAM00422 that was introduced earlier this year. Ad - Scroll to continue with article Despite the facts that the PAM00504 (left) is larger (47mm), doesn’t have an automatic movement and is more expensive then the PAM00505 (right) I’d still choose it, if I had the choice. And that for just one simple reason… I just LOVE the gold hands in this composition. Le
The Petrolhead Corner - Rob Dickinson of Singer Vehicle Design, The Most Amazing Restomod Porsche 911s
Today we're talking with Rob Dickinson, founder and creative director of Singer Vehicle Design and co-founder for watch brand Singer Reimagined. When we were preparing to film a video interview with Rob, some two years ago, I knew about the Singer Reimagined Track 1, that super cool chronograph featuring Jean-Marc Wiederecht's innovative chronograph calibre. But that was it, so I “Googled” him and found out that Rob used to be the lead singer and guitar player of a band that I listened to a lot. I still vividly remember a concert of his band, Catherine Wheel, back in 1990 or 1991, when they played together with the Smashing Pumpkins and support act, The Verve. So, shortly before filming that video interview about Singer Reimagined, we talked music and days gone by.?Later we also talked cars, of course! I'm a watch guy, but I'm also a car guy. Like watches, I prefer cars with mechanical content, a petrol engine and not too many batteries. And that's exactly what Rob and his
