Luxury Watches |
Oris has exceeded the traditional styles of watchmaking with its iconic Divers SixtyFive collection. The watch beautifully combines bronze with blue to give a subtle product. The inner dial displays bronze hands and markers with luminescence for easier visibility. The bronze unidirectional bezel gives off a hint of vintage designing, which complements the deep blue color. To add to that, the watch has a scratch-resistant crystal, steel casing, and water-resistance to set out in the watchmaking industry.

For this new kid in the collection, A. Lange & Sohne introduces a new type of striking mechanism, the?Decimal Strike, which gives echo?to the unique display of this watch. Please meet the?A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk Decimal Strike. As a quick recap,?the collection already comprises the?Zetiwerk Striking Time?– which?strikes the hours and the quarters –?and the?Zeitwerk Minute Repeater?– with a?rather unique decimal minute repeater system. Laurent Ferrier Bridge One - In the Mood for Retro - Monochrome Watches
In a radical departure from the smooth, pebble-shaped cases we associate with Laurent Ferrier, the Bridge One embraces a new geometry marked by flowing rectangular lines with rounded edges and a strong Art Deco vibe. The movement, shaped to match the case, is also new and fitted with a traditional Swiss lever escapement as opposed to the natural escapement featured on most of LF watches. Unveiled during the SIHH 2019, we were able to spend some time with the novel Bridge One.Sources of InspirationThe more you look at the elegant flowing lines of the case, the more complexity you start to detect and the more sources of inspiration you start to spot; which is hardly surprising given the long and distinguished career of master watchmaker Laurent Ferrier.Historic image of the Passerelle de l'Ile in Geneva, one of the sources of inspiration for the new Laurent Ferrier Bridge One.Ostensibly, a wrought-iron bridge that Ferrier could see from his bedroom window as a child inspired the case. Based on their entry level skeleton watch introduced in 2015, the?Roger Dubuis Excalibur Automatic Skeleton, the brands adds some darkness, some robustness and some lightness to the concept with a molded?carbon case. Let’s have a look at one of the watches to be introduced at the SIHH 2016, the?Roger Dubuis Excalibur Automatic Skeleton Carbon.Skeleton watches are?the main specialty of the Manufacture Roger Dubuis – together with the fact that every single watch produced is adorned with the Poin?on de Geneve.
