The gorgeous black dial houses a 24 hours sub-dial indicator along with silver-toned luminous hands of the watch. The watch is encased in a Sapphire crystal with stainless-steel so that it can increase the durability of the product. A skeleton transparent exhibition back allows the viewer to observe the minute detailing on the dial. This watch is highly functional because of the automatic caliber and a 72 hours power reserve.

VIDEO - The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked 15407 Fully Explained
At the SIHH 2016, Audemars Piguet introduced a new version of its?Royal Oak Openworked, and this time, it featured a?Double Balance Wheel… Why replace this superb model? And why have two balances??We all know that images are better than words in order to understand, so let’s turn the floor over to the CEO of Audemars Piguet,?Fran?ois-Henry Bennahmias (and you’ll see, there’s a fun story behind the creation of this watch) and Gilles Pellet, Head of Product Quality Department at Audemars Piguet, to discover the superb and technically-advanced?Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked 15407.One of the boldest models in the Royal Oak collection, alongside the classical?15400 and the ultra-thin 15202, has always been the Openworked Selfwinding version 15305 – so-to-say, a connoisseur’s watch, made for the collectors who care about watchmaking and who know how to recognize a true Haute-Horlogerie execution and decoration. This watch, in a 3
Introducing: The Time-Reversing Cartier Santos-Dumont Rewind
Alberto Santos-Dumont, the Brazilian aviator, and Louis Cartier shared a passion for machines and mechanics. In 1904, Louis Cartier presented Santos-Dumont with the first purpose-designed wristwatch with a solid, rounded square case and rivets on the bezel. The idea behind the watch was to allow Santos-Dumont to consult the time in the cockpit without having to remove his hands from the controls. Little did either of these forward-thinking gentlemen suspect that this wristwatch would become one of the most popular and enduring Cartier icons of all time. For 2024, Cartier proposes a rather unusual model, the Santos-Dumont Rewind, that literally flies in the face of tradition. At first glance, the watch appears to be a classic Santos-Dumont with a lovely carnelian dial, Roman numerals, a ruby cabochon in the crown and the signature railway minutes track. Although the XII and VI are in their usual positions, the rest of the numbers are reversed, meaning that time is read backwards, not for
Moon Landing 50 - The Other Watch of Apollo 11, The Mission Control Heuer Stopwatch
We know all about the Omega Speedmaster ‘Moonwatch’, as the first wristwatch on the Moon, which cemented its place in the history when the Apollo 11 mission successfully landed on the Lunar surface on the wrist of Buzz Aldrin. But there’s a little-known Heuer stopwatch that played a small but very important role when Neil Armstrong was piloting the lunar module Eagle to land on the Moon. The iconic image of Buzz Aldrin on the lunar surface, his Speedmaster Professional around his wrist… but this wasn’t the only timepiece involved in mission Apollo 11.Since the initial landing site was too cavernous and rocky, Armstrong had to manoeuvre the Eagle to a different location. This, in return, caused extra fuel to be used and it had reached critical levels. In the event of all fuel being used without a safe landing, an abort would have been necessary and thus no landing on the Moon would have been possible.Image from Mission Control – one of the flight contr
Introducing: Patek Philippe Worldtime with Date 5330G
With a legacy extending over 80 years, including the renowned Cottier watches, Worldtimers stand out as one of Patek Philippe’s quintessential complications. Patek Philippe was the brand to reintroduce this complication in 2000 with the unveiling of the 5110 model. Subsequently, the 5110 was succeeded by the 5130 in 2006, which in turn was replaced by the 5230 in 2016. In 2023, the brand's first worldtimer with date, the reference 5330, was released as a 300-piece limited edition exclusive to Japan with a purple guilloche dial. As could be expected the model now enters the regular collection. It comes in a white gold blue-gray dial combination and on a calfskin strap with a denim pattern. Meet the reference 5330G-001.This new generation of Patek Philippe worldtimer reference 5330G-001 distinguishes itself with a patented world first designed to enhance user experience and comfort: a date display (pointer date) that works in sync with the local time, i.e. that of the time zone sel
Introducing the Montblanc Homage to Nicolas Rieussec Special Edition - Monochrome Watches
In January of this year, we introduced Montblanc’s latest iteration of the Nicolas Rieussec lineage to you;?the new Montblanc Homage to Nicolas Rieussec. It set itself apart from its siblings with a remarkable off-centre hour/minute dial. This dial shows a minute rail-track and the minutes; hours are not visible, until the lights dim and they shine in the dark. This Homage to Nicolas Rieussec Special Edition features an additional galloping horse that is both visible during the day (as outline), and in bright shining SuperLumiNova, when it’s dark.?I hear you think, why is there a horse on the dial? Well, to answer that we’ll have to look back to the year 1821, when Nicolas Rieussec’s “time writer” was used for the first time. In 1917 he was formally appointed as watchmaker to the king of France and on the king’s request he developed?a “machine” that enabled them to measure time intervals. The idea was?to?use during the horse races,
