IWC Debuts The Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph Summer Edition Along With a Collection of New Fabric Straps - Monochrome Watches
Summer is here and with it comes warm weather, trips to the beach and afternoons on the open water. IWC has just introduced a summer edition of their Portugieser Yacht Club Chronograph series with a nod to our warmest season. This is the latest edition of the Portugieser Yacht Club Chronographs, with previous models such as the Ocean Racer dedicated to the Volvo Ocean Race, an intense sailing race around the world. This year's models have a more casual demeanour and would fit in with a short sleeve shirt and board shorts, or a nice afternoon sailing down a swath of the Atlantic coast.A deep blue dial with white sub-dials and a red stopwatch hand (and a few red accents) have a maritime vibe, along with a water-friendly blue rubber strap. The sub-dial at 12 o'clock is the chrono minute and hour counter, while the one at 6 o'clock is the sweeping seconds with a stop mechanism (hacking). This unique chronograph counter positioning is due to the IWC in-house chronograph calibre?89361, but m
Ollech & Wajs OW Ocean Graph - Dive Watch Review (Specs & Price)
In 2019, a very niche but still revered brand, specialized in instrument watches, made its comeback. Following models such as the C-1000 Caribbean or the P-101 for pilots, the brand has recently introduced a new, and appealing, dive watch, the OW Ocean Graph. And we take a closer look at it today.BackgroundOllech & Wajs is typically the kind of name that might not ring a bell to a broader audience, but that is still well-known and highly respected in some collectors' communities. A case-in-point niche brand that has devoted its production to instrument models, now all relatively collectable. Ad - Scroll to continue with article

Speake-Marin Introduces the Spirit Mk II DLC - Monochrome Watches
Followers of our online magazine will, without a doubt, know the British watchmaker Peter Speake-Marin. His work with legendary watchmakers Roger Dubuis and Daniel Roth has led to Chapter Two by Ma?tres du Temps, and he was also involved in Chapter One together with Christophe Claret. Peter’s own watches are already well-known among collectors and connoisseurs of fine watchmaking, always sporting the familiar Speake-Marin style elements. Probably best described as a perfect balance between classic and bold, however today that subtle balance tips over: the newest version of the Spirit Mk II becomes a RAW Spirit in a matte black DLC-coated ‘jacket’. How cool is that!?!In 2011 Peter introduced a much bolder piece than ever before and named it Spirit Pioneer. That one was limited to 68 pieces – 1968 is Peter’s year of birth – and it sold out within a few weeks. An important piece for Peter, and that’s why the Spirit Mk II was also engraved with the
