The perfect solution to aesthetic and artistic needs - the Seiko SAGA261 is the timepiece that is in vogue and will remain so for the foreseeable future. This particular men's wristwatch is titanium made, with a hard coating, and a round shaped ceramic casing. The round shaped dial also features an analog display. This particular timepiece can save the data of any two time zones of your choice and will display time accordingly. This enigmatic timepiece features two small sub-dials, and a small aperture for telling the date; and GPS. The solar-powered timepiece can last for nine months in the dark when fully charged.

40mm or 35mm...? The Two Sizes Of The Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 Compared
To say that the Tissot PRX is a success would be an understatement. It is a massive hit, and for obvious reasons. Besides the overall very decent quality of the watch, combined with an accessible price, it’s mostly its style that made it so popular… The flair of the 1970s, the luxury sports watch look, the integrated design, a powerful and reliable movement and the resemblance with some of the most iconic watches (but clearly unattainable) of the category. It has it all. But the only mechanical option, up until recently, was undoubtedly on the large side. Problem (partially…) solved, as we now have the new Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 35mm. Is it perfect? Which model should you choose? We compare the 35mm and 40mm Tissot PRX to help you decide. Spoiler alert: it’ll be a hard choice! For many years, the concept of the luxury sports watch – refined, high-end watches (mostly) in stainless steel with a matching and integrated steel bracelet and thin movements, as f
The History of the Ferrari V12 Engine, The Heat of Summer Classic Rallies and The Mid-Engine 'Vette - Monochrome Watches
Saturday means another kind of mechanics here, at MONOCHROME. As every week, we share with you our second passion: cars (like real cars, those that smell and make some noise). This week’s Petrolhead Corner is a “best of the web”, with some of the coolest stories we found. One of the most legendary engines explained, the fun of the summer rallies and the latest (and controversial) version of an iconic car. Fasten your seatbelts and start your engine (… coffee machine). The History of the Ferrari V12 EngineThere are legendary cars… Many of them! However, when it comes to the most important part of a car (real car), its engine, only two names come to my mind: Flat 6 and Colombo. The first is deeply linked to the iconic Porsche 911. The second created the legend surrounding Italian brand Ferrari. Without the intervention of engine designer Gioacchino Colombo, and the creation of the V12 engine that bears his name, Ferrari wouldn’t be Ferrari. It goes as f

Bucherer, the world’s largest watch retailer, continues its expansion strategy. After the acquisition of The Watch Gallery LTD, London, and then Tourneau LLC and Baron & Leeds, both in the US, the Group now explores new territories. After decades spent on selling new watches, Bucherer launches today its “Certified Pre-Owned” program, authenticated and guaranteed second-hand watches for sale on the Group’s e-commerce website and on a dedicated floor at the Bucherer Gallery in Geneva (to start with).?“We want to redefine the luxury pre-owned watch market and offer these wonderful watches the platform and environment that they deserve as luxury goods,” says Guido Zumbuhl, CEO of the Bucherer Group. Bucherer wants to raise “the level of trust with (its) customers that is necessary for the sale of pre-owned watches while also increasing awareness of CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) among the general public“. It has to be noted that both Tourneau

That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind. These words from Neil Armstrong still resonate in the heart of everyone on earth, even 45 years after the Apollo 11 team landed on the Moon. Of course, Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins had tons of the best equipment with them but the one that clearly appeals most to us is the small,?rudimentary, basic, old-fashioned mechanical Omega Speedmaster strapped onto each of their wrists. Omega can be proud of this history; and to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Apollo 11, they introduced a new limited edition of the Speedmaster Professional.?Today’s?photos, made by our friends at?SpeedyWatches, makes a perfect way to celebrate this monumental milestone in men’s history.?Today, July 20th 2014, marks the 45th anniversary of?the iconic lunar landing where famous astronauts Neil Armstrong,?Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins took humankind's first steps on the moon.
