Studded with 29 jewels, Roman numerals and two tiny red dials against a larger black dial; Seiko SARW045 has been created to set fire. A silver outer dial frame and black leather strap give it both a unique and familiar look. A little bit of gold inside the dial adds an extra spark to this beautiful piece. The dual-curved sapphire crystal top and see-through back casing make this watch unique.

Norqain Freedom 60 GMT 40mm Bronze Midnight Blue
In just over a couple of years, Norqain has demonstrated a rather impressive coherence in its collections and also quite a rapid expansion. Right from the beginning, the brand even announced partnering with Kenissi, a renowned Swiss movement manufacturer (also working for Tudor, Chanel or Breitling), propelling them straight in a more high-end league. From all the models we’ve seen recently, the Freedom 60 GMT, a vintage-inspired watch with practical complication, has certainly been amongst our favourites and it returns this year with a cool combination of colours and a compact case. Here’s the new Norqain Freedom 60 GMT 40mm Bronze with Midnight Blue dial.?The Freedom 60 GMT, a watch presented in late 2020, was the first important evolution of the collection – the most classic collection of the brand, with the least rugged appeal. As explained by the brand's CEO, Ben Kuffer: When we began designing these new Freedom watches, we listened closely to what customers and
Tribute to the Speedmaster First Omega in Space, Now Discontinued
While in 2021 vintage-inspired watches are all over the place, in 2012 the situation was slightly different. There were some homage or revival watches already, but the trend was less obvious. Specifically, if you were in the market for a Speedmaster with retro-styling, the main option was the all-time classic, the Moonwatch Professional (which has just been updated). Despite countless limited editions, most of them were relatively modern, and a proper vintage re-edition had yet to be launched. This came in 2012, with the introduction of the Omega Speedmaster First Omega in Space, a quite faithful take on the CK2998, as indicated by its name, the first Omega to be worn in Space, on the wrist of Wally Schirra. This numbered, non-limited edition was and still is a very attractive model… but Omega has decided to give an end to its career. And that’s why we’ve decided to pay tribute to one of the coolest Speedmaster editions.?the First Omega in SpaceThe links between Omega
History - Why Snoopy Ended Up On an Omega Speedmaster after Apollo 13
At first, this might raise some questions… What can the link be between a comic character, a chronograph watch and a space agency? While the connection between the last two should be quite familiar to most of you, watch enthusiasts (obviously), the presence of Snoopy in this 3-way equation is more questionable. Sure, Snoopy is cute and has become a cult character over the years, but why would he be printed on the dial and caseback of an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch? What do space exploration, watchmaking and comics have in common? Well, the answer is simple: Apollo 13, an incident, the recovery of the crew and a special honour awarded for outstanding achievements.?As 2020 marks the 50th anniversary of Mission Apollo 13, we thought it would be a great idea to look back at the role of the Omega Speedmaster in recovering the crew, how it earned the Silver Snoopy Award and which Speedy watches are linked to Snoopy. The Moonwatch on board Apollo 13As all of us perfectly know by now, Ome
Longines Legend Diver Bronze No-Date - Review, Price
The Longines Legend Diver is certainly the most emblematic watch from the brand’s Heritage collection. Based on a 1960s diver’s watch with a typical compressor case, Longines revived this model in a modern way in 2007 and the watch has now become a collection with multiple versions, all equipped with a date display (which was added in 2012). For 2020, the winged-hourglass brand introduces a new edition of the classic LLD, which not only features a bronze case and gradient dark green dial, but also marks the comeback of the no-date display. We take a closer look at the new Longines Legend Diver Bronze. The originsThe modern Legend Diver is a faithful recreation of a very desirable dive watch created by Longines in the early 1960s, the Ref. 7042. This watch featured an oversized compressor case – with twin crowns and an internal rotating bezel – as well as a highly recognisable, rather elegant black dial with painted, luminous Arabic numerals and elongated minute m
Introducing: The Green 38mm Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m
Qualifying as Omega’s perfect everyday watch, the Seamaster Aqua Terra collection has long represented an elegant take on the aquatic watch or, conversely, a dress watch with a sportier vibe – take your pick. Over the years, we’ve seen countless editions of this watch, specifically following its facelift in 2017. It’s also been a testing ground for colours, as we saw with the Shades collection here. Today’s addition to the collection is a bit more classic, though. Following the introduction of a green teak-inspired dial on the 41mm Aqua Terra in 2020, it’s now time for the more compact 38mm to get this cool colour scheme. The classic Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m as we all know it – understand by that the versions with a sporty style and a teak-inspired dial – is available in two dimensions, a masculine 41mm model and a mid-size 38mm edition. In any case, it’s a watch we’ve long appreciated for its versatility – we̵
