Baume & Mercier is known for its simple, elegant and?interesting offer. Especially made to be gifted – to celebrate a graduation, a success or any nice event of a life – they are perfect daily watches for those who just want a reliable and pleasant companion. One of the collections is truly inspired by this concept. It’s called the Baume & Mercier Classima and for the SIHH 2015, it receives?a interesting?update.?Compared to the rest of the brand owned by the Richemont Group (that also holds Lange & Sohne, Jaeger-Lecoultre or IWC), Baume & Mercier could?be seen mainly as the entry-level brand. For sure, if you look at the rest of the Richemont portfolio, B&M is far from the crowd of ultra-complicated and highly-priced watches. However, Baume & Mercier should not be relegated to a low-end status. It offers the opportunity to enter the world of classic, timeless and elegant watches for a reasonable price and answers to a demand of timepieces made

RGM Model 600-B Chronograph Blue Dial (Specs & Price)
American watchmaker RGM introduced its Model 600 Chronograph last year with inspiration from military pilot watches from the 1960s and 1970s. It had a straightforward design with a black dial, bi-compax layout and no date and joined the rising trend of military-inspired chronographs like the Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic Chronograph and Longines Avigation BigEye. Blue dials are really trending as well and Longines recently introduced the Avigation BigEye Titanium with a gradient blue dial, trading a bit of authenticity for style. The indie watchmaker is following suit with the RGM Model 600-B and a striking sunray blue dial.?The chronograph is part of RGM's broader pilot collection that house ETA movements in lieu of in-house calibres. This allows for more accessible pieces that still showcase the brand's quality and design prowess. The case is stainless steel with a brushed finish (polished bezel) and contemporary size – 42mm in diameter and 14mm in height with crystal. That cr

With its vintage-inspired rose-gilt opaline dial, luxurious platinum case and larger and more powerful 30-255 PS calibre, one feature gives the new Calatrava ref. 6196P a surprisingly contemporary air.A follow-up to the long discontinued reference 5196, the new 6196P shares the 96 in its name in honour of its famous ancestor. The 6196 comes in a slightly larger 38mm platinum case with a slender profile of 9.33mm and a diamond set into the caseband at 6 o'clock. What doesn’t change is the iconic 3-part case of the Calatrava, with flat-edge bezel. Polished with satin-brushed flanks, the smooth bezel is bevelled, and the slender lugs
