the 2020 Chopard L.U.C Perpetual Twin (Specs & Price)
In 1996, under the guidance of Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, Chopard proudly inaugurated its Fleurier Manufacture and introduced a superb micro-rotor movement, the Calibre 1.96. This brand milestone gave birth to a collection of high-end watches named L.U.C embodying Chopard's finest watchmaking expertise. It laid the foundations for numerous developments including the L.U.C Perpetual Twin, an elegant perpetual calendar that was presented in 2016 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the collection. The model is now released in two new elegant versions. The first version of the Chopard L.U.C Perpetual Twin is presented in the usual stainless steel case. It is now fitted with a new dial, with subtle blue shades. The second model introduced is, for the first time, offered in pink gold and paired with an elegant ruthenium-grey dial. Both dials are presented in a new, more classic style with faceted hour markers – replacing the applied Roman numerals found in

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of its?partner Mercedes-AMG, IWC unveils a new edition of the Ingenieur Chronograph Sport, which?was introduced in March of this year. The new version?comes in a titanium case, with new hour and?5-minute markers, and its magnetic field protection has been styled to look like a?brake disc! Let’s have a look at how IWC celebrates the 50th anniversary of its?partner Mercedes-AMG.?For the observant reader, I think you have probably already spotted the similarity with the dial of the Airking. That?was the first watch from a mainstream brand to feature 5-minute markers instead of hour markers. IWC’s press info about this new Ingenieur Chronograph Sport does not mention the new indices, however we can imagine that they took?inspiration from?the speedometers in the AMG cars, or something like that. Surrounding the silver-plated dial, is a tachymeter, which?make sense for a sports chronograph, as it allows you to measure the speed of a car. If you

Speake-Marin Introduces the Spirit Mk II DLC - Monochrome Watches
Followers of our online magazine will, without a doubt, know the British watchmaker Peter Speake-Marin. His work with legendary watchmakers Roger Dubuis and Daniel Roth has led to Chapter Two by Ma?tres du Temps, and he was also involved in Chapter One together with Christophe Claret. Peter’s own watches are already well-known among collectors and connoisseurs of fine watchmaking, always sporting the familiar Speake-Marin style elements. Probably best described as a perfect balance between classic and bold, however today that subtle balance tips over: the newest version of the Spirit Mk II becomes a RAW Spirit in a matte black DLC-coated ‘jacket’. How cool is that!?!In 2011 Peter introduced a much bolder piece than ever before and named it Spirit Pioneer. That one was limited to 68 pieces – 1968 is Peter’s year of birth – and it sold out within a few weeks. An important piece for Peter, and that’s why the Spirit Mk II was also engraved with the
