The Tag Heuer WAY131D.BA0914 is an Aquaracer category ladies category watch. The watch comes with a white dial with diamonds as index hour markers and luminescence minute hands. The case is made with polished steel that provides a better look to the watch and protects it from environmental stresses. The sapphire crystals in the glass make it stay scratch and reflection free. The bezel of the watch has a unidirectional turning capacity and is constructed out of polished ceramic. The caliber of this watch follows a quartz type movement, and the reserve is powerful as well. The bracelet of this watch is made out of a combination of polished steel and ceramic.

First Look: The Cartier Tanka Guichets Watch is Back in 2025
Let’s push on several open doors… One, Cartier, the French jeweller-watchmaker, is the master of shaped watches. Second, Cartier’s most emblematic watch is, undoubtedly, the Tank. Third, there are actually dozens of Tank watches, and the depth of the collection goes far beyond the Tank LC and the Tank Normale. With this in mind, and knowing what Cartier has done recently with its Prive collection, you might have noticed that one of the most unconventional and yet iconic models is still missing. We’re, of course, talking about the Tanka Guichets, a watch that somehow feels part of the brand’s landscape while remaining pretty rare – it has only been sporadically produced. Welcome to Watches and Wonders 2025… The year the Tanka Guichets is back (once again).?A short historical recap about the Tank a GuichetsThe Cartier Tank is said to have been created in 1917, with a watch that would later be named the Tank Normale (to differentiate it from every
Van Cleef & Arpels' Stephanie Rault Explains The Brand's Approach To Watchmaking
Each year, during the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve (or in short, the GPHG), one brand always stands out because it wins so many awards: Van Cleef & Arpels. It might not have been the name you expected; however, if you look at the sheer number of awards it has won over the years, it is more than impressive (three in the 2024 GPHG alone). While we have scarcely covered the typical high jewellery watches from Van Cleef & Arpels, the opening of a new boutique in Amsterdam was the perfect moment to learn more about the brand. For this, I turned to Stephanie Rault, European President of the Maison, to hear about Van Cleef & Arpels' watches and future plans.Van Cleef and Arpels Lady Arpels PlanetariumFrank Geelen, MONOCHROME – I mainly know Van Cleef & Arpels as a jewellery brand. If it wasn’t for the numerous prizes Van Cleef & Arpels has won or the rather spectacular Midnight Planetarium and the Lady Arpels Planetarium, both in collaboration with C
In-Depth: Diving with the Sinn U50, The Smaller German Diving Instrument
If you're on this website, reading the latest article in my diving test series, there's a pretty good chance that you have at least a passing familiarity with Sinn watches. There is an equally good chance that most of your non-watch-nerd friends, family, and colleagues do not. Flying just under the radar, Sinn has been producing beautifully well-made toolwatches for over 60 years now. If there's any brand that functions as a nod and a wink and a horological secret handshake, it's this Uhrmacher aus Germany. And that handshake has to be done with an iconic diving instrument (it really is that) on the wrist, a Sinn U1 Or should it be its smaller, more versatile brother, the Sinn U50?A Bit of HistoryFounded in Frankfurt in 1961 by former WWII pilot and flight instructor Helmut Sinn, the brand initially focused on the manufacture of navigation clocks and pilot chronographs. In the 1960s and 1970s Sinn manufactured watch cases for military and consumer use, including the notable Heuer/Sinn
New Longines Elegant Collection 39mm for 2022 - Hands-On, Price
While Longines has recently invested a lot of effort in its retro-styled pilot’s collection, the Spirit and all variants – which you can explore here – as well as its Heritage models, the brand also has a pretty consistent portfolio of elegant dress watches that often fly under the radar. Surely, we have a thing for these inspired and cool collections, but not everyone is looking for such models. A relatively significant fraction of future owners is simply looking for an elegant, restrained watch that can easily be worn at the office. And in this field, the Winged Hourglass has something new with some arguments under the hood; the new Longines Elegant Collection 39mm models. The new models in the Longines Elegant Collection are all about visual discretion and refinement at a fair price, yet with modern, daily-compliant mechanics under the sapphire caseback. It’s not just simple watches to display the time. Longines has made sure that the new 39mm members of the?E
Louis Moinet Metropolis - Hands-On Review (Specs & Price)
What makes the beauty of an object? Its design… Right, that was an easy answer. But if look closely, what is hidden behind the word “design”? Like in architecture, watchmaking uses shapes, proportions, perspectives, empty and?full parts, layers and steps, in order to create a three dimensional object. This is what Louis Moinet tends to do with their new watch, the?Metropolis. More contemporary, more sculptural, still with a?proprietary?movement of great quality but with a more aggressive price policy. The industry evolves and micro-brands, even the high-end ones, have to take the train on time. And that Metropolis is an interesting move. When you look at the Louis Moinet offerings, you immediately spot two important characteristics. First, their watches are bold, highly designed, very unique in terms of style and very strong. We all know that provocation and differentiation are salvation for micro-brands, yet, if they?want to develop, brands have to talk to wider audie
