This timepiece is from the Aquaracer series by TAG Heuer. It comes with a stainless steel case of diameter 35mm. Its blue textile (rubber backed) strap feels quite comfortable. Moreover, the uni-directional rotating stainless steel bezel with a blue ceramic top ring has taken the beauty of the watch to another level. Its blue-colored mother of pearl dial featuring rhodium-plated hands and diamond hour markers is another amazing feature. Minute markers are carved around the outer rim while the date display is at the 3 o'clock position.

SIHH 2014: Recap of all the A. Lange & Sohne novelties (with LOTS of photos) - Monochrome Watches
Apart from the Richard Lange Perpetual Calendar Terraluna we've presented you last Monday (see here) and the Grand Lange 1 Moon Phase that you have discovered through Frank's hands-on (see here), A. Lange & Sohne revealed more new timepieces at the 2014 edition of the SIHH. Monochrome-Watches looks back on the new models of the Saxonian brand, and adds a LOAD of hands-on photos.1815 Tourbillon / 1815 (2014)The 1815 case is nothing new in the A. Lange & Sohne range, nor are the tourbillons. Is the 1815 Tourbillon boring? Not at all. It's a classic interpretation of the very legible and elegant 1815 design, which always features a lot of horological sweetness. The new 1815 Tourbillon features a large tourbillon, visible through an equally large aperture in the dial, and there’s more. New is a stop-seconds mechanism (also sometimes referred to as hack system) with a Zero-Reset function. Ad - Scroll to continue with article
A Visit to The Hour Glass Malmaison Boutique in Singapore - Monochrome Watches
Singapore has a host of attractions to lure business and leisure travelers. Boasting a population that is virtually 100% watch enthusiasts, the city-state can claim a boutique that takes luxury living to the next level!?Over the Chinese New Year's holiday I was in Singapore with my family. ANY trip to Singapore necessitates at least one jaunt to Orchard Road to look for my two vices, watches and fountain pens. It was on that jaunt that I came across Malmaison. The fa?ade and window display had enough to lure me in: several high-end brands of watches and a large sign signifying that it was part of the Hour Glass group of stores. Artisans de Geneve "The Pearl Project" Skeletonised Patek Nautilus 5711
Today's high-end watch aficionados increasingly seek unique products; watches that no one else has and reflect their personality. Some brands offer bespoke watches, but companies specialised in watch customisation services are one avenue to exclusivity and personalisation. There are a handful of such companies, but Artisans de Geneve is in a league of its own. This independent workshop does not manufacture or sell watches but is commissioned by clients to transform their watches. What has really put Artisans de Geneve on the map is its expertise and approach to creating something truly unique. While most players typically offer blacked-out versions of timepieces, Artisans de Geneve goes a few steps further. The Blausee,?a skeletonised and hand-wound take on the Daytona is an example of its approach and capabilities. One of the latest commissions is even more surprising A client entrusted the company with reinterpreting an absolute icon, a Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711!Note: Artisans
Buying Guide - 4 New Uber-Complex Chronograph Watches of 2022
The idea of this article came to life after our first encounter with the new MB&F Legacy Sequential EVO a few weeks ago. Looking at this ultra-complex, yet impressively intuitive and pragmatic chronograph – that was officially launched today – made us look back at the new chronograph watches in 2022. And this is how we discovered that, indeed, there are some rather impressive models lurking in stopwatch territory. A classic chronograph is designed to time an event; these chronographs, however, do far more than that. They either improve the technical characteristics drastically or have entirely new ways of displaying elapsed times – or everything at once! Yes, the chronograph is still one of the top complications, and it’s here to stay!Basically, a chronograph is a watch equipped with an additional feature that can measure elapsed times. A stopwatch, if you prefer. The duration of an event can be timed, on demand, with extra hands placed on the dial, which ca
Introducing: New Skeleton Rado Captain Cook and True Square in Navy Blue Ceramic
By now, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to you that Rado, a Swatch Group brand, has gained (well, self-attributed, but justified) the title of The Master of Materials, being one of the leading representatives of the ceramic watch – thanks to sister company ComaDur. Ceramic has multiple qualities – it is durable, scratch-resistant, light, soft to the touch, etc. But, unlike coated metal watches, the colour of ceramic is a property of the material itself, meaning it is resistant to wear and won’t fade. In this context, Rado has been playing with black, grey, green and even white watches. And now, it’s time for navy blue to become the latest member of the family, with new editions of the Captain Cook and True Square models. While ceramic has some flaws (it can be brittle, it’s hard to machine), it also has many advantages. One of them, which has long been exploited by Rado’s high-tech ceramic, is the ability to create wear-
