The Tag Heuer WAY2013.BA0927 is an Aquaracer category watch. This watch comes with a white dial that has minute markers that encircle the rim in a luminous pattern. The minute hands are made with the same finish as well. This gent's watch also equips a date section that is placed at the 3'o'clock position. The case of this design is made perfectly out of fine-brushed and polished steel that accounts for the fineness and the sustainability of this masterpiece. The bezel follows a unidirectional motion and is made with the same material as the case. The caliber is automatic, and the reserve can last up to 38 hours approximately. The bracelet of this watch is made with alternate finishing steel 3 rows bracelet and alternate finishing steel folding clasp with double safety push-button; including TAG Heuer engraving.

Interview: A Business-Oriented Conversation with Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie
MELB, does that mean anything to you? The acronym hides a discreet family group, active in various high-added-value fields including, of course, watchmaking. However, one of its components is well-known, through its collections: Endeavour, Streamliner, and Pioneer to name just three. We are talking about H. Moser & Cie and MeylanEdouardLeonoreBertrand (MELB), founded by the former CEO of Audemars Piguet (until 2008), Georges-Henri Meylan, alongside his three children. The patriarch is the Chairman of the holding company, which has several strings to its bow. We're meeting with Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie, on the sidelines of the presentation of the Geneva Watch Days in Zurich a couple of weeks ago.Pascal Brandt, MONOCHROME – What does MELB Holding represent, which is rarely talked about?Edouard Meylan – The origins of MELB Holding date back to its foundation in 2006. Weekly Watch Photo - Cartier Santos 100 Carbon Watch - Monochrome Watches
The big WOW factor hit me when I saw this photo. Made by Cartier connoisseur (and ambassador) GEO of the Cartier Santos 100 Carbon Watch. In 1904, Alberto Santos Dumont, a Brazilian aviation pioneer, asked his friend Louis Cartier to design a timepiece that would be handier than a pocket watch during his flights.?This is how the Cartier Santos wristwatch was created and it made the Cartier Santos Dumont the first mens wristwatches! A fact not many watch aficionados know. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Santos, Cartier launched the Santos 100 in 2004. Ad - Scroll to continue with article A few years later Cartier launched the Santos 100 Carbon Watch in two sizes; above is the large size which measures 38.3 mm without the crown by 51 mm (lug to lug). The stainless?steel case is black ADLC (Amorphous Diamond Like Carbon) coated and features a satin finish
Introducing the Omega Speedmaster FOIS "First Omega in Space" now in Sedna Gold (live pics & price) - Monochrome-Watches
Omega has quite a lot of vintage-inspired watches in their collection, like for instance the Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial or the Omega Speedmaster?57 Co-Axial revisited with Broad Arrow Hands (a recall of the very first Speedmaster CK2915). In 2012, they also introduced a quite?interesting edition of the Speedy that was a tribute to astronaut Wally Schirra and the watch that was strapped on his wrist, a Speedmaster CK2998. This re-edition of the First Omega in Space (nicknamed FOIS), a numbered (non-limited) edition, remains?quite successful and it now comes in a more luxurious edition, with a very cool dial. Here is the Omega Speedmaster FOIS ‘First Omega in Space’ in Sedna Gold. What is?the 2012 Omega Speedmaster FOIS?‘First Omega in Space’? Basically, this watch is based on the classical Omega Speedmaster Professional ‘Moonwatch’ with a slightly different case. Apart from the material (the original Speedy is a proper tool watch that comes in
Fortis sends its manufacture calibre Werk 17 into the stratosphere
Field-testing is something we talk about regularly, but we rarely test a watch beyond normal, everyday use. Sure, on occasion, we send a dive watch into the depths of the ocean on the wrist of our resident diver, but that's about it. The (sad) reality is that most testing takes place in boring, sterile laboratories under very specific conditions. Yet, there's something immensely cool about pushing a watch, or movement for that matter, to the extreme in a real-world situation. Case in point, the Werk 17 manufacture chronograph calibre developed by Fortis. Closely tied to aviation and space in its own right, the brand has now sent a batch of this new manufacture movement into the stratosphere to see how the watches hold up.November 2021, Kiruna, Sweden. This location is home to the Esrange Space Centre, a facility used by the Swedish Space Corporation. Initially dedicated to scientific research on the Aurora Borealis phenomenon, it is now also used to launch helium balloons, rockets and
The Oris Aquis Date, Now in a 39.5mm Case - Monochrome Watches
Oris swims in new waters with its 39.5mm iteration of the iconic Aquis Date. A formidable underwater tool, the Aquis Date is more compact and stylish, ready to conquer smaller wrist sizes, with the same?tool attributes and the new design?introduced on the 2017 version of the 43.5mm case. The new Oris Aquis Date 39.5mm next to the existing 43.5mm versionHot on the heels of the recently launched Carl Brashear Chronograph in a bronze case, Oris presents a downsized version of its Aquis Date model. Sitting alongside the classic 43.5mm Aquis Oris models, the new, more manageable case size of 39.5mm is designed to appeal to men who probably spend more time on land than underwater. Men who want a watch that will slide comfortably under a shirt cuff without losing the macho sporty appeal of a proper dive instrument. It will also work well for men with smaller wrist sizes and even women who appreciate the rugged, masculine soul of a dive watch. The Oris Aquis Date 39.5mm with black sun-brushed di
