The Tag Heuer WBD2113.BA0928 is an Aquaracer category watch. It comes with a grey dial that has minute markers that encircle the rim in a luminous pattern. The minute hands are made with the same luminous finish as well. This gent's watch also incorporates a date section that is placed at the 3'o'clock position. The case of this design is made out of fine-brushed and polished steel that accounts for the durability and the sustainability of this masterpiece. The bezel follows a unidirectional motion and is made with the same material as the case. The caliber of this watch is automatic. The reserve of this design can last up to 38 hours approximately. The bracelet of this timepiece is made with alternate finishing steel 3 rows bracelet and alternate finishing steel folding clasp with double safety push-button; including TAG Heuer engraving.

The History of the Pilot Watch Part III: Mark IV.A and Mark V - Monochrome Watches
The two most import catalysts for the development of aviation watches were early aviation record attempts and war. World War I finds watch development between the pocket watch and the new wristlets with the British issuing pilots pocket watches. British Mark IV.A and Mark V pocket watches are an example of WW1 military aviation.World War I conjures childhood images of bi-planes fitted with a machine gun to fire through the propeller, the Red Baron's plane emerging triumphant from a dogfight, and the endless lines of trenches on the ground below. Add the romanticism of aviation to the romanticism of war, and you have an iconic, if mistakenly idealized, pairing. War's demand for precise navigation or coordinated attack meant that the world grasped the importance of horology. When “balloon busting” or taking out observation balloons, British pilots flew with the pocket watch Mark IV.A (1914) and Mark V (1916).Doxa Mark V (source: Military Watch Forum)Case back markings, unique
Ulysse Nardin Classico Manufacture Grand Feu SIHH 2018 - Hands-On (Specs & Price)
While some of the watches introduced by Ulysse Nardin at the SIHH 2018 slightly surprised us, including the Marine Torpilleur Military (and surprise doesn’t mean negative feelings here), the brand also had something resolutely classic up its sleeve in the form of the?Classico Manufacture Grand Feu, which we reviewed here. Endowed with glossy enamel dials, a subtle yet original design, and an accessible price, we wanted to see them in the metal. If there’s nothing especially new about these watches since they are a simple evolution of the existing Classico Manufacture we reviewed here,?the addition of enamel dials is more than enough to tickle our interest at MONOCHROME. As we already explained to you after several articles about this model, the Classico Manufacture is UN’s best definition of a “classic”, “dressy” and “understated” watch. It is subtly designed and proportioned, yet it has a few distinctive details that confer original
Pre-SIHH 2019 - Cartier Prive Collection, The Comaback of the Cartier Tonneau (Specs & Price)
The Tonneau Watch by Cartier always had a special place amongst collectors. Certainly less famous than other shaped watches designed by the Parisian Maison (Tortue, Crash, Tank, Santos, Drive, Ballon Bleu, and many more), it remains one of the most original and certainly one of the most elegant creations ever executed by Cartier. Thanks to the Revival of the “Prive” branding, with the reinterpretation of the Crash in 2015 and the Tank Cintree in 2017, we see the return of those beautiful shapes watches in the brand’s portfolio. For the SIHH 2019, the Tonneau Watch is staging a comeback. The Cartier Tonneau, An Icon born in 1906The Cartier Tonneau is one of the earliest wristwatches created by Cartier. Only two years after the introduction of the Santos (created by Louis Cartier in 1904 for his friend Santos-Dumont), Cartier again challenged the concept of the round pocket watch with yet another shaped wristwatch. The name itself, “Tonneau”, refers to the sh
Report - Crazy Prices for PF Journe at 2021 Phillips & Only Watch Auction
As you might have seen, this past weekend was important for the watch collecting community. Like every year, the weekend after the GPHG is packed with auctions in Geneva. Christie’s and Phillips (and others) had their auctions, and last Saturday was the Only Watch charity auction; all benefitting from the presence of the most prominent watch collectors. While the auctions showed a strong, but not spectacular, interest in vintage watches from the usual suspects (mainly Patek Phillipe and ), we’ve seen a renewed confirmation of a trend that started a couple of years ago. There’s a fast-growing and strong interest in some independent watchmakers, such as Philippe Dufour, Roger Smith and early watches made by F.P. Journe. And looking at the astonishing results fetched this weekend at Phillips Geneva Watch Auction XIV and Only Watch 2021, this is a trend that can’t be ignored anymore! When he created MONOCHROME more than 15 years ago, our founder Frank, quickly start
Hands-On - TAG Heuer Carrera Carbon Heuer 02 and Heuer 02T Limited Editions (Specs & Price)
Sleek, lightweight and innovative, carbon is ‘in’ at TAG Heuer with several limited edition watches crafted in this material recently – for instance, the Bamford Carbon Monaco or the Carbon Aquaracer models. As the end of the year quickly approaches, there’s still time for TAG Heuer to celebrate the 55th?anniversary of the Carrera with three Carbon limited edition watches. Based on the modern and modular version of this legendary watch, the brand unveils three new pieces equipped with the Calibre Heuer 02 and Heuer 02T.In 1963, Jack Heuer created a robust, no-nonsense chronograph designed specifically to hit the road and destined to set new standards. He decided to name it after one of the most dangerous races, the Carrera Panamericana. This legendary open-road race was created in the early 1950s to celebrate the creation of the Mexican stretch of the Panamerican highway. Over the years, the collection has evolved and became one of the brand's more popular lines
