Luxury Watches |
Tag Heuer's Formula 1 is a regular watch at first glance. Equipped with a black dial and silver bracelet, this watch is as simple as it could get. However, the black titanium carbide bezel with numbers printed on it deviates from it. The titanium push buttons increase both the style and beauty of the watch. The sapphire crystal top prevents damage to the dial and needles and allows the watch to sparkle and shine wherever you go.

Introducing The New IWC Portofino Automatic Pointer Date
Introduced in 1984, the Portofino is IWC's interpretation of a classical, stylish yet understated unisex watch collection. The minimalist round case design of the Portofino family can trace its lineage to the 1970s when IWC made a pocket watch based on a large Lepine movement. Combined with clean, uncluttered dials, the Portofino has earned the much sought-after distinction of being timeless. Today, IWC introduces a new 39mm stainless steel model with a date complication displayed in a sub-dial at 6 o'clock. Meet the Portofino Automatic Pointer Date.Although it might not be as iconic as IWC's Portugieser or Pilot’s watch collections, the Portofino has a distinct set of design features that consolidate its attractive personality. The simple round cases and straight, thin lugs are certainly one feature, but so are the more recently introduced elongated Roman numerals combined with classic indices and elegant leaf-shaped hands that give the dial its purity. Following the introductio
Hands-On - IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph Edition "150 Years" IW377725 (Specs & Price)
IWC celebrates its 150th anniversary with a generous line-up of 27 limited editions of the brand's icons – including this popular Pilot's Watch Chronograph, also known as the ?“FliegerChronograph“. The 150 Years watch displays elapsed times against a glossy, white lacquered dial that pays tribute to the enamel dials of IWC's historic pocket watches.Flight path of IWC's pilot watchesIWC took to the skies in 1936 with the launch of its first pilot watches and eventually supplied pilots of Britain's Royal Air Force and Germany's Luftwaffe. Hallmark traits of these early cockpit allies ?-in the form of large cases, easy-to-read black dials with white numerals, luminous triangular markers at 12 o'clock and the oversized ratcheted crown to allow for manipulation when wearing gloves – have characterised the IWC's squadron of pilot watches since then. Hands-On: Impressions about the Omega Speedmaster Moonphase Meteorite
A moon phase complication on a watch that went to the Moon and is named, at least for some of the editions, the Moonwatch… Add to that a glass of moonshine and a slice of mooncake, and you’ll be over the Moon. I allow you to blame me in the comments for this lame introduction, which doesn’t feel like asking for the Moon… Maybe I should do a moonlight flit and disappear. Right, back to business. As our readers know, it has become a tradition for Omega to present a new Speedmaster on one of the first Tuesdays of the year. Yesterday, marking its first introduction of the year, the Biel-based brand presented a remake of its Speedmaster Moonphase. Smaller, slimmer, powered by a modern hand-wound movement, slightly over-engineered as you’d expect from Omega, using bits of the Moon on the dial, it promised the Moon. But has Omega shot for the Moon here? Let’s find out (yes, I’m done with the moon-related jokes).A quick history of the Speedmaster Moonp
A new deep-blue dial for the Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SRQ043
1969 was a monumental year for multiple reasons. It’s the year mankind set foot on the moon for the first time, the Boeing 747 Jumbojet made its maiden voyage, Eddy Merckx wins his first of five Tours de France races, and the Beatles made their last public performance. In watchmaking, it will forever be the year of the automatic chronograph. Next to Hamilton/Heuer/Breitling and Zenith, Seiko was also pushing to be the first and came out with the 6139. This legendary movement was the first automatic chronograph with a column wheel and vertical clutch, which made for a more precise and error-free measurement of elapsed time. Honouring this momentous achievement, Seiko introduced the Prospex Speedtimer collection in 2021, combining the aesthetics and technical elements of some of its earliest chronograph watches. Three years and multiple iterations onwards, Seiko now introduces the Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SRQ043. The original Seiko Speedtimer released in 1969, with its aut
Hands-On With The Seiko Prospex Diver Save the Ocean SLA065
A couple of weeks ago, Seiko released a new dive watch as part of the SLAxxx series – the higher-end collection with the most advanced features the brand can pack. Once again, it had to do with the most emblematic dive watch of the brand, the 62MAS – which is also the brand’s first-ever and, coincidentally, Japan’s first-ever dive watch. As part of the “Save the Ocean” series, it felt familiar and shared many design elements with other eyes in the brand’s portfolio. However, this new Seiko Prospex Diver Save the Ocean SLA065 also came with some specificities – its dial, of course, and its colour scheme too, but also an unprecedented case. And now that we have had a sample in our hands, it’s time to tell you everything you need to know about it.Our initial article was deliberately short and factual. First of all, Seiko is often rather concise when it comes to explaining its watches in press releases. Having only the brand’s off
