The black titanium case with black perforated titanium strap is a classic of TAG Heuer's design. The complicated looking dial houses three sub dials; as well as a small aperture at 3 o' clock for keeping track of dates; the dial has a series of silver rectangular bars serving as markers. The outer dial is decorated with minute markers. The dial has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass covering as well.

Introducing: Chopard L.U.C Strike One White Gold/Green Dial
In 2016, with a crystal-clear sound, Chopard announced the launch of its L.U.C Full Strike minute repeater, introducing an exciting solution featuring a sapphire gong directly attached to the crystal. This departure from the conventional metal segment gongs, which vibrate around the movement to produce sound, marked a significant step for Chopard. Beyond its innovative sound mechanism, the L.U.C Full Strike boasted several remarkable features and a complex design. However, another chiming watch from the brand needs to be mentioned, a slightly simpler but nevertheless exquisite one, the Chopard L.U.C Strike One, which now comes in white gold with a green dial for Dubai Watch Week. However, Chopard’s journey into striking watches predates the L.U.C Full Strike. In 2006, the Fleurier-based manufacture introduced the Strike One with the passing of hours acoustic complication, commemorating its 10th anniversary. This timepiece featured the in-house Calibre 96.14-L, showcasing a visible
Claude Sfeir, Philippe Dufour's Partner: How the 20th-Anniversary Simplicity will be Allocated (Spoiler, It's a Lottery) - Monochrome Watches
A few weeks ago, a Philippe Dufour Simplicity “20th Anniversary” was the highlight of the Phillips “Retrospective 2000-2020” Geneva auction. The watch – marked 00/20 – hammered for over CHF 1.3 million. Admittedly, Philippe Dufour is one of the most respected craftsmen of the industry, and his watches are regarded as the ultimate expression of traditional hand-finishing. The story doesn't end here, though. The introduction of the anniversary Simplicity watch was initiated with Claude Sfeir. One of the world's foremost watch collectors, a long-time friend and supporter of Philippe Dufour, Claude Sfeir is now his commercial partner. Believe it or not, since the news broke Sfeir received over 10,000 emails from potential buyers interested in acquiring one of the 20 limited-edition anniversary Simplicity watches. Ten have been allocated already, and the remaining ten will be distributed following a random draw (more information below). Like many notable
Tudor Heritage Black Bay Campaign and Exclusive Making Of Video - Monochrome Watches
The last few years, Tudor has been heavily inspired by their own heritage and, logically, created an entire Heritage collection. Two years ago Tudor launched the Heritage Chrono that features the exact same looks as its vintage ancestor. Last year they surprised everyone with the Pelagos and the Heritage Black Bay. So two major dive watch releases in one year. The Pelagos, albeit not part of the Heritage collection, is the robust yet comfortable alternative to the Sea-Dweller. With a serious depth rating, hefty in size, but extremely wearable because it’s made of titanium – might be a nice tip for . The other dive watch is the Heritage Black Bay that is also a serious dive watch, and adds a dose of vintage looks that grab back on the Tudor Submariners from the 1950’s and 1960’s. Last year Oris already swept us off our feet, with the Aquis Depth Gauge, which features a depth gauge that is as simple as it is brilliant. An new in-house developed hand-wound movement boosting 10 days of power reserve, at an unbeatable price. Sound very interesting, but will we be swept off our feet again? It will be available in stainless steel or 18K rose gold and will be limited to 110 pieces each! Ochs und Junior Due Ore reviewed - Monochrome Watches
Ochs und Junior is the brain-child of Ludwig Oechslin and Beat Weinman and recently Ulysse Nardin came on board as the third partner. A logical third partner, if you know more about Oechslin’s achievements in the horological world. Since 2009 his ideas take shape in Ochs und Junior timepieces.?Ochs und Junior watches are recognizable by their clean and almost industrial design, lacking any kind of typical watchmaking finishing. And lacking any name or logo! The minimalistic design and raw, unfinished, machined parts determine the looks of all Ochs und Junior timepieces. Luckily I was allowed to borrow a Due Ore for a review.?It's a tough job, but somebody's gotto do it Ad - Scroll to continue with article HistoryI wanted to say that the story began with Ochs und Junior’s first timepiece, the Anno Cinquanta, however that wouldn’t be correct.
