The Formula 1 Calibre 7 TT is a marvel of time-pieces like none other. A watch infused with the bold character of Formula-one, the major highlight of this exquisite timepiece is the two-tone black and blue bezel, which is as bold as it can be. The timepiece is also waterproof to up to 200 meters, and the face is protected by scratch resistant premium Sapphire Crystal. This watch also has 9 white gold plated hour markers, which add to the dominant premium feeling of the watch.

Girard-Perregaux Laureato 42mm Green Dial (Specs & Price)
The Laureato, Girard-Perregaux's take on the luxury sports watch, has a surprising history and was launched in 1975, just three years after Audemars Piguet unleashed Gerald Genta's game-changing Royal Oak. Following a period of hibernation, the Laureato made a tentative return in 2016 to celebrate the brand's grand 225th anniversary, followed by a fully-fledged collection in 2017. Having been treated to the ultra-luxurious solid pink gold model with a sleek onyx dial just two months ago, GP returns to sportier stainless steel and decks its time-only 42mm Laureato model with a fresh green dial. The first Laureato (Italian for graduate) of 1975 played the nascent luxury sports watch game to a tee. With its raised octagonal bezel, sleek lines, hobnail engraved dial and integrated steel bracelet, the comparisons to the Royal Oak were inevitable and no doubt welcome. However, unlike the Royal Oak, the Laureato was fitted with a slim, ultra-precise quartz movement. After all, GP had pioneered
Bell & Ross BR-X1 Skeleton Chronograph - Specs and Price - Monochrome-Watches
Bell & Ross fighting against Audemars-Piguet and Hublot? That’s exactly what Carlos Rosillo, one of the two founders of the brand, wants to achieve. While Bell & Ross was used to produce multiple editions of a same concept for years (countless versions of the BR-01), they are now coming with more complicated watches, with quite a strong design. After the B-Rocket presented in Baselworld 2014 (that we’ll review soon), the french brand introduces a limited edition with the ambition to fight in the heavyweight class, the?Bell & Ross BR-X1 Skeleton Chronograph. The Bell & Ross BR-X1 Skeleton Chronograph may represent the exact opposite of Hautlence with the Invictus Morphos in terms of marketing and strategy – remember that this timepiece will be Hautlence’s entry level – the technical specifications are however quite similar. Bell & Ross with its latest collection is raising standards to a complete other level. First, the design is stronger
Introducing the 2014 IWC Aquatimer Collection - With LIVE Photos - Monochrome Watches
Last year IWC completely revamped the Ingenieur collection, the year before that it was the Pilot’s collection, and this year the Aquatimer collection gets a fresh new look. Today we can already show you some of the new models, the rest will be ‘visually’ presented in a few weeks at the SIHH in Geneva. Now I have seen the entire new Aquatimer collection, I can already say that my favorite is made in bronze!IWC has a long reputation for using ‘new’ materials; new at least for the watch industry. Especially the Ocean 2000, a classic that IWC made for Porsche Design and one that most (fanatic) watch enthusiast will know, was a well ahead of its time. That was because of its smooth, rounded integrated bracelet, entirely made in titanium, and with a depth rating of 2000 meters. This particular watch was a huge source of inspiration for Christian Knoop, IWC's Creative Director, which can be seen in the new Aquatimer Automatic 2000 (Ref. IW358002). Ad
Where do you like to buy your new watch? - Monochrome Watches
This weekend i’m going to pick up my dream watch in Finland. After selling quite a few of my watches to get enough funds it’s finally time. Airplane tickets and a hotel room are booked, so next week i’ll show you my new watch.Daniel Craig coming from the Omega dealerYou can buy a used watch online or even a new one. Most of my friends prefer to buy a watch at a local AD. They like to be welcomed in a luxurious atmosphere, talking to a sales representative about their ideas for a new watch, drinking a nice espresso and finally walking out the door with a new watch on the wrist and a nice bag containing the box. That’s all part of the joy of buying a new watch. Isn’t that great? How can you beat that feeling…? Well… you can buy a watch from an independent watchmaker, visit him in his workshop and buy the watch there! Ad - Scroll to continue with article
Introducing A New Take On The Rado Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Skeleton
The Rado Captain Cook collection is a skilful blend of retro vibes and high-tech materials. Ok, it’s also available in more conventional stainless steel or bronze but the high-tech ceramic models will always be a bit extra special. It displays Rado’s industry-leading know-how of the material and the brand’s ability to apply it to any style of watch. Over the past couple of years, we’ve seen many interesting and cool combinations of colour and even skeleton models. Continuing from last year’s Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Skeleton Limited Edition, Rado adds a new non-limited ‘gunmetal’ grey and gold-coloured model to the collection.Rado is a master when it comes to ceramic applications in watches, and it shows in the high-tech ceramic case for this Captain Cook, finished in a cool dark grey colour. This innovative material is extremely resilient to scratches and has a cold, tactile feel to it. The case is topped with a rose gold PVD-coated beze
