This watch by Tissot is another model of class. It incorporates a vintage look with state of the art mechanisms. The watch is equipped with a self-winding, automatic movement and has a 38-hour power reserve. The bezel is silver with a knurled texture. For the dial, the watch hosts a white round dial with silver-tone Roman numerals and hands in a 28mm stainless steel case. The Refined Honeygold Edition of The A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk Minute Repeater
A. Lange & Sohne's Zeitwerk Minute Repeater is an extraordinary, highly original watch that perfectly captures the personality of this grand Saxon brand. As the only mechanical wristwatch to combine a jumping numerals display with a decimal minute repeater, the Zeitwerk is visually and acoustically exceptional. Following the first platinum Zeitwerk Minute Repeater of 2015 and the white gold model of 2020, the brand releases a limited edition of 30 Zeitwerk Minute Repeaters crafted in warm Honeygold.HoneygoldHoneygold is a top-secret alloy developed for Lange in 2010. Its unique colour, which looks like liquid honey, is reserved for Lange's most exclusive timepieces. Harder than platinum and other gold alloys - and therefore much more challenging to shape and finish - Honeygold has an extremely subtle and elegant tone. Ad - Scroll to continue with article Ins
Introducing the DeWitt Academia Mathematical Concept Watch No. 4 (specs & price) - Monochrome-Watch
You know us, here at Monochrome-Watches. We just can’t help ourselves when it comes to the appeal for non-classical horology. It’s especially true when it comes to unusual displays, meaning watches that tells times not with 2 or 3 classical hands but with… well, anything that are?not hands. Liquids, discs, satellites… we love all ‘other displays‘. For this reason, we had a strong interest in a brand we don’t usually cover and for a special watch, the?DeWitt Academia Mathematical a.k.a Concept Watch No. 4.The main attraction of the?DeWitt Academia Mathematical?is its apparent chaos of numbers and discs. Don’t expect its dial?to be as rigorous and balanced as a Lange Zeitwerk. Instead, it comes with 4 independent discs that are displaying the time information’s in a very strange but, in the end, legible way. As time is usually identify by 4 numbers (xx:xx), this watch is composed of 4?totally autonomous jumping numerals that are enlig
Value Proposition: Olivier Randin Technomatic - When you want to measure your pulse and speed after discovering that a massive thunderstorm is approaching quickly - Monochrome Watches
OK, that’s a long title to start with, however it explains what you can do with the Olivier Randin Technimatic: measure your pulse (pulsometre), measure your speed (tachymetre) and how far lightning is away (telemetre). A while ago we asked you what you wanted to see more on Monochrome, and value propositions was one of the things you would like to see more on Monochrome. So when we saw a photo of the Olivier Randin technomatic, and heard the price, we thought it would make a good idea to have a closer look.I guess you already thought that the face of this watch looks familiar. It features pretty much the same scales and dial layout as the?Patek Philippe 5975 that was introduced for the brand’s 175th anniversary. So when you were too late to get hold of one of the Patek Philippe ref. 5975 models (or lack the budget) than there’s an alternative. No… kidding. Not in terms of build and quality, but at first glance you certainly see a lot of resemblance.?The Olivier
Buying Guide - 5 Recently Launched Diving Chronographs
In addition to classic models, with a clearly-defined style and set of functionalities, watchmakers also love to mix genres. What about a perpetual calendar pilot’s watch? Or a sports skeleton timepiece? There’s another combination that feels, at first, a bit unusual but that, however, became more and more popular over the years, a watch combining the resistance and robustness of a diving instrument with the practicality of a chronograph. Diving chronographs were first popularized in the mid-1960s by Aquastar, soon followed by Omega with the iconic Seamaster Automatic 120m Chronograph “Big Blue”. And today, we’ve listed 5 very capable, desirable diving chronographs that have been recently launched – watches that will feel home practically everywhere, under the sea, on land, at the tracks, and in the air. Or if you want to time the cooking of your pasta while taking a jump in the pool…Aquastar Deepstar Chronograph Re-EditionNo doubt, this is a f
The Speedmaster Chronicles #3 - @VintageWatchzilla, Moonwatch Collector
Our series of videos “The Speedmaster Chronicles” started with two insiders. One is the fFormer NASA Program Manager and Aerospace Engineer who tested and certified the Moonwatch before going to the Moon. The other is no less than Mister Speedy Tuesday, our dear friend Robert-Jan Broer. Today, for Episode 3, we move on the other side of the watchmaking planet, with a collector. We won’t show his face nor mention his full name. Some of you may know him from his Instagram pseudonym:?@VintageWatchzilla. What we’ll show you though is one of the greatest collections of Omega Speedmaster we’ve seen recently.?VintageWatchzilla has some pretty nice watches and the knowledge that goes along.Collecting watches is a fun hobby. We all know that. There’s something more that we all know… Watch collecting, especially when focusing on vintage pieces, can become tricky. This is why, for our?series of videos “The Speedmaster Chronicles”, we wanted to
