Introducing the Richard Mille RM 69 Erotic Tourbillon - Monochrome-Watches
Erotic watches… A long standing tradition in watchmaking. We have showed you a few, like for instance this one. Usually, this kind of timepieces tends to show automatons depicting an erotic scene (like a couple in action…). Richard Mille is now coming with his own vision of such a watch, however with the typical modern, technical and extremely complicated style of the manufacture. No suggestive scene here but something more likely to enliven your evenings… Here is the Richard Mille RM 69 Erotic Tourbillon that brings sensuality with words only.<pAs said, erotic watches are part and parcel of the watchmaking tradition. For decades, watchmakers played with the theme of libertinism by mechanically recreating suggestive scenes. However, due to conservative moral, religious and political customs, they tend to be difficult objects to wear on a daily basis (and frankly, these are watches that you have to be fully assumed). That's why many of them depicted these scenes on
Introducing: Chopard Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph JX7
In their seventh collaboration, renowned race car driver and six times Le Mans winner Jacky Ickx and Chopard‘s Co-President Karl-Friedrich Scheufele have crafted a timepiece that honours the racing legend but also celebrates their 36-year friendship fueled by a mutual love for motorsport and exquisite watches. Inspired by the distinctive blue-coloured helmets worn by Ickx since 1972, the new Mille Miglia chronograph once again captures the essence of the series. The new Chopard Mille Miglia Classic Chronograph JX7 continues the updates introduced in 2023 to the classic car-inspired collection while adding a few distinctive features. It offers two versions of the chronograph: one in Lucent Steel and another in Lucent Steel with ethical 18-carat yellow gold elements. Introducing Chopard L.U.C Flying T Twin White Gold & Blue Dial
Chopard's first L.U.C calibre with a flying tourbillon made its debut at Baselworld 2019 in a rose gold case with a grey dial. The epitome of a contemporary dress watch with a nod to the past, Chopard's ultra-thin flying tourbillon returns this year in an ethical 18k white gold case with a handsome blue guilloche dial in a limited edition run of 50 pieces. Although it exhibits traditional complications like the tourbillon and traditional decorative techniques like guillochage, the L.U.C Flying T Twin does not fall into the category of a traditional' or classical' watch. Rather, it comes across as a remarkably elegant and refined contemporary dress watch powered by a sophisticated ultra-thin movement with a robust power reserve. Like its predecessor, the watch is COSC chronometer-certified and flaunts the prestigious Poin?on de Geneve seal of quality. What’s in a name?Accustomed as we are to brands with watch names that run on for miles, Chopard's collections tend to stick to short
Hands-On - 2021 Longines Legend Diver Gradient Blue and Brown
The brand with the Winged Hourglass has many emblematic models in its collection, most of them being found in the praised Heritage line. Yet, few can rival the longevity and beauty of the Longines Legend Diver, one of the watches that defined the vintage-inspired collection of the brand and that is still a strong pillar in the portfolio. Since its introduction in 2007, this compressor-inspired watch has undergone several updates, visual or mechanical, and even went bronze, full black-coated or gold recently. For 2021, the collection is enlarged with colourful dials. We go hands-on with the new Longines Legend Diver with Gradient Blue or Gradient Brown dials. The Longines Legend Diver, or LLD for its fans, has been modelled after an important vintage watch that Longines created back in the late 1960s, when professional and recreational dive watches were a growing trend, and when this specific type of case architecture was seen as a great alternative to the standard construction for dive
Visiting the Panerai Manufacture, the Brands Highly Efficient Production Site (With Exclusive Live Pics) - Monochrome Watches
Preliminary Note: Until now, very little has been communicated about the production procedures of Panerai watches. We had the opportunity to visit the brand's state-of-the-art manufacture and were impressed by the time and effort invested in quality management. The Panerai manufacture was completed in 2014 and is currently headed by Jean-Marc Pontroue. Located on the outskirts of Neuchatel, the 10,000 sq m building was constructed with eco-compatible standards. It gathers all product development and production teams under one modern roof to operate the brand manufacturing activities (parts, movements and casing). There, 250 people carry out their specialist work. In addition to the Swiss manufacture, Panerai's headquarters are located in Italy where key corporate functions, such as design and marketing, take place.
