Tissot added this elegant timepiece to its T-Classic collection. This timepiece boasts a round, green dial surrounded by a gold bezel and supported by a 316L stainless steel, transparent case. The yellow gold PVD coating makes the case more abrasion-resistant. The combination of yellow gold-tone Arabic numerals, minute markings, date window at 3 o'clock and needles enhance the look of the dial. Not just that, the anti-scratch and anti-reflective coating on both sides of the sapphire glass will wow you for sure. The grey stainless steel bracelet entails a golden touch and ends with a butterfly push-button clasp. Furthermore, the watch has an impressive power reserve of about 80 hours. Men won't get an automatic watch better than this for casual events.

Hands-On - A. Lange & Sohne Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon with Pink Gold/Salmon Dial (Specs & Price)
Montblanc, Audemars, Patek?and more… Salmon/pink dials are THE trend for the 2018/2019 collection. Even though not entirely novel, we’ve never encountered so many watches with pink-coloured dials as we have this year. Don’t get us wrong, we actually love salmon dials here, at MONOCHROME (see Frank’s love letter here). There are, however, different ways to execute a salmon dial and when it decided to do its first real pink-coloured timepiece,?A. Lange & Sohne took the high-end road… really high-end, with the new?Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon and its solid pink gold dial.Lookbook 2019 – The trend for SalmonAfter a rolling series of blue dials (from 2013 to 2016), after multiple bronze watches (a trend that isn’t over, as seen at the SIHH with multiple?bronze case/green dial watches), the major trend for high-end watches this year seems to be the combination of white metal and a pink/salmon dial. Such a combination isn’t new, as it has
Tudor FastRider Chrono - hands-on with live photos & price - Monochrome-Watches
This year, at Baselworld 2015, Tudor is not only introducing the (our) Tudor Pelagos with a blue dial and the Tudor North Flag, both with the new in-house movement. They also had a chronograph in the vaults, but not one from the Heritage Collection, like the Heritage Chrono Blue. Instead they are coming with a modern, cool and young adults oriented timepiece, the?Tudor FastRider Chrono. The FastRider isn’t properly a novelty, as a previous one was already in the collection since 2011. It was a chrono in stainless steel, with a stainless steel bezel (engraved with a tachymeter scale) and available with a white or red stripped dial. This watch was the result of a collaboration with Ducati (the motorbike brand) and was somehow quite obsolete in the actual range of cool Tudor watches. The new one may have several new features, it keeps?the Ducati partnership. Ad - Scroll to continue with article
Becoming Partner of a Brand, and We Mean that very Literary - Monochrome Watches
Few watch-nuts can deny that the thought of starting, owning or working for a watch company has crossed their minds. Being part of an ongoing legacy, or just a highly innovative company that caters to the wishes of the crowds is something very appealing. Now a project is kicking into high-gear that offered just that: being part of a watch brand.I intentionally say offered, in the past tense, because the project is now entering its second stage. The first stage, however, is what sparked me to write this article. Headed by CEO Thomas Scheinemann, an endeavor is underway to resurrect one of the oldest names in Swiss watchmaking: DuBois & Fils Sa. In fact, it can be called the oldest watch factory in the World, originating from 1785. Ad - Scroll to continue with article A few other brands in Switzerland might take offense at that statement. Panerai LAB-ID PAM700 - Review (Specs & Price)
A?common cliche is to let engineering and innovation in the hands of Germans / Swiss and design to Italians. Justified or not, you probably heard that dozens of times. Yet, for once, we’ll let Italians their chance to show their skills in terms of innovation… And to be honest, they might have something here. Indeed, the new?Panerai LAB-ID PAM700, presented at the SIHH 2017, is simply a concentrate of Panerai’s technology. 50 years warranty, self-lubricated parts, almost no jewels in the movement, carbon everywhere. See, Italians can also jump into technology.OK, this intro was kind of ironic, because, it has to be said, Panerai watches are mostly developed and manufactured in Neuchatel, Switzerland. Yet, this doesn’t remove anything to the interest behind this watch, a piece that sums up everything the Florentine brand can do best in terms of technology and movement design.?Clearly, the teams of Panerai are both proud and extremely confident in this new concept.
Interview - Adrian Ballinger On Climbing Everest Without Oxygen, his Favre-Leuba Bivouac 9000 On The Wrist
Favre Leuba is known for its rugged functional watches. The brand's unique mountaineering credentials owe much to the Bivouac collection. Back in the 1960s, the watch was one of the first to be fitted with a mechanical altimeter. In 1975, Japanese alpinist Junko Tabel, the first women to summit Everest, did so with a Bivouac strapped to her wrist.Fast forward to 2017, the brand launched the Bivouac 9000, a modern take on this model capable of measuring altitude up to 9000m – watch our in-depth video to understand how this watch works. Empirical evidence of this capability was brought by mountaineer Adrian Ballinger, as he summited Everest while wearing this modern Bivouac 9000 on his wrist. We caught up with Adrian Ballinger in Zurich, just a few weeks after he came back from his no-oxygen ascent of K2, the second tallest mountain in the world. Doing so, he became one of the few climbers to have summited both Everest and K2 without oxygen. Ad - Scroll to continue with a
