Luxury Watches |
This watch combines the vintage and modern art of watchmaking and produces an exceptional end product. The design is simple and has no excessive flare, however, it is an elegant and sophisticated piece of work. The blue sunray patterned dial incorporates silver hands and index markers. The case of the watch is titanium and is 41mm in total. The bezel is fixed and likewise is crafted from titanium. The bracelet of the watch follows suit and fastens with a fold clasp.

Patek Philippe 5320G Perpetual Calendar Salmon
Patek Philippe unveils its novelties for 2022 at Watches & Wonders, including this attractive salmon dial version of its Perpetual Calendar 5320G. The novelty is limited to the new dial colour, and the case and movement specifications remain identical to the 2017 model. Reference 5320 made its debut in 2017 in a white gold case with a cream-coloured lacquered dial and a strong vintage aura. Although it was not inspired by one specific vintage model, several key traits from Patek’s past references found their way on board. Patek’s first serially produced perpetual calendar wristwatch of 1942, known as reference 1526, had its fair share of influence in the design of the 2017 model. In particular, the layout of the 1526, with its two rectangular windows at noon for the month and weekday and the sub-dial at 6 o’clock with the moon phases and date were recreated on the 2017 perpetual calendar. As Brice points out in his review, the Arabic numerals and blued syringe han
The New Hermes H08 Collection (Hands-On, Price)
For Watches & Wonders 2021, Hermes launches the H08, a new men's collection with the brand's characteristic flair for creating enigmatic shapes. Designed as a versatile, all-terrain watch, the Hermes H08 is as sporty as it is sophisticated. Like so many watch collections at Hermes, the hand of the designer makes its mark. In this case, the hand behind the new H08 collection is that of Hermes' creative director Veronique Nichanian. Presented in a choice of three cases – titanium, black DLC-coated titanium and graphene with ceramic – the H08 is powered by an automatic manufacture movement made by Vaucher.Design, design, designThe Parisian saddle and harness atelier founded by Thierry Hermes in 1837 has grown to become one of France's most beloved luxury Maisons. Some would say that Hermes actually perfected the concept of luxury. Synonymous with silk scarves, Kelly bags, the colour orange, horses and the best quality leather in the world, Hermes added watches to mix over
Hands-On Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight 925 Silver 79010SG - Price
Aside from the classics that are steel, titanium, gold or platinum, watchmaking has been using multiple “innovative” materials. You can think about exotic metals such as tantalum, aluminium or bronze, or materials like ceramic, carbon fibre or even sapphire – and not even counting dozens of proprietary alloys… The story behind 925 silver is slightly different. No stranger to watchmaking, this alloy has, however, long been replaced by steel or gold to make cases, and its use is often relegated to the production of dials. This year, Tudor somehow innovates (“think different” would be more appropriate) by launching its star dive watch in a 925 silver case. And indeed, it looks rather stunning, as we’ll show in this first live encounter with the Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight 925.As said, 925 silver is (was actually) a familiar material in watchmaking. It was common to see pocket watches being made of solid silver, in the same vein as jewellery has be

Weekly Watch Photo: Heuer Camaro + Monochrome Rally Strap + Ferrari 599 - Monochrome Watches
Watches and sports cars?are?two universes that match perfectly. Heuer and Ferrari: two iconic brands that dreams are made of. For this Weekly Watch Photo, we put a gorgeous vintage Heuer Camaro on our own exclusive Monochrome Rally Strap, and strapped it on our wrist.?And with the help of one of Monochrome’s?friends, we drove a stunning red Italian car, a Ferrari 599 GTB. Great times call for great photo reporting.?Ready for a ride?We at Monochrome-Watches love the vintage Heuers, especially the Autavia. For this article, we chose another one, a Camaro, one of the most stylish but strangely underrated racing chronographs of the brand. Launched in 1968, the Camaro, named after the famous Chevrolet, shares lots of similarities with the Carrera, in a slightly larger and cushion-shaped case. The dials and hands were very close to the Carrera, and so were the movements. Ad - Scroll to continue with article
