Featuring exposed screws and geometric shapes, this watch has become an icon for both men and women. Its navy blue alligator leather strap beautifully complements the silver dial and blued-steel sword-shaped hands. Hands-on: The Brutalist Audemars Piguet [Re]Master02 (Incl. Video)
Audemars Piguet launched its first [Re]Master model with the recreation of a superb chronograph from the 1940s. For the second chapter of this historical collection, the brand reimagines one of its most expressive designs from the 1960s. A model of brutalist inspiration, the reference 5159BA stands out with its yellow gold asymmetrical case and eccentric shape. As for the first [Re]Master, the idea is not to present a mere copy of a past model, but to reimagine it with a modern eye Just like the remastering of music records. Meet the Audemars Piguet [Re]master02 Selfwinding reference 15240SG.Beyond the design conventions dictated by the round wristwatch, Audemars Piguet has a long, rich legacy of shaped watches. The brand has always distinguished itself with its unique ability to disrupt the norms or break the rules. Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Tourbillon Chronograph 25th Anniversary 26421 - Review (Price)
As we told you in a recent article, next year will be the 25th anniversary of a modern icon, a watch that simply created the trend for bold sports-luxury watches: the?Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore. In 1993, the brand impressed (or shocked) the industry with this watch, and to celebrate this, AP has some commemorative pieces to mark the occasion. The first one looks at the past, being a re-edition of the first ROO. The second one, which goes under our loupe today, looks towards the future. Aggressive, impressive, complex, architectural… Here is the bold (to say the least)?Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Tourbillon Chronograph 25th Anniversary. On one side of the range, Audemars Piguet looks at the past. Indeed, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Royal Oak Offshore (as a reminder, launched at Baselworld 1993), the brand has revealed a vintage-inspired version of this modern icon, a 1:1 re-edition of the very first ROO, with chronograph and blue guilloche dial. Introducing The Tudor Pelagos FXD And Pelagos FXD Chrono Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition
In 2022, watchmaker Tudor unveiled its partnership with Alinghi Red Bull Racing, a contender in the most competitive yacht race in history, the America’s Cup. This was the first time Tudor ventured into the world of competitive yacht racing. But as you know, the brand doesn’t just form partnerships for the sake of advertising. There are, very often, some watches involved. And the result of the collaboration between Tudor and Alinghi is launched today, with a pair of new Pelagos FXD models, including – for the first time – a chronograph fitted into a fixed strap-bars case. Combining a high-tech carbon composite with titanium and stainless steel, just like on an AC75 (America's Cup 75) hydrofoil racing yacht, let’s have a closer look at the new Tudor Pelagos FXD And Pelagos FXD Chrono “Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition”.The Tudor Pelagos FXD is a rather special watch in the brand’s collection. It was first unveiled in late 2021 and built to a
Introducing: The Rado Captain Cool x Cameron Norrie Limited Edition
Rado has sponsored tennis for over three decades now. Since 1985, the brand has partnered with several tournaments but also with athletes such as Ashleigh Barty. Their latest tennis-themed timepiece is a limited edition created with young British player Cameron Norrie, a member of the Rado Tennis family since 2021. And as you have probably guessed from the start, it is based on one of their star collections, the Captain Cook.Presented during the tennis grass season, this limited-edition Captain Cook comes in a 42mm steel case with a unidirectional bezel fitted with a green polished ceramic insert. It is matched by a domed green-to-white gradient dial. The Rado moving anchor logo is featured on a purple back plate and adds a playful element to the dial. The use of Superluminova on the bezel, dial and hands provides enhanced legibility in all conditions while bringing a sporty touch. The tip of the second hand is highlighted in yellow as a reference to tennis balls. Ad - Scrol
Introducing Rado Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Limited Edition
Rado introduced its Captain Cook model to the market in 1962 to satisfy the demand from amateur and professional divers. Keen to conquer the depths, these underwater adventures would have been unfeasible without a proper watch. Production of the Captain Cook was halted in 1968, with the estimated total number of pieces released during six years as low as 8,000. In 2017, perhaps in response to the popular demand for vintage-looking models, Rado announced the vintage re-edition of the 1962 Captain Cook watch, 37mm in diameter, very close to the original, and a larger 45mm version. Since then, quite a few retro and vintage-inspired watches have been launched, including a 42mm Captain Cook Automatic in 2019, followed by? Rado Captain Cook Bronze Collection in 2020. Last year the Master of Materials announced four versions of the 43mm Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic model, three of them with matte black ceramic cases and bracelets and black ceramic inserts in a steel bezel, with one option o
