Luxury Watches |
A very delicate and sophisticated piece by Cartier, this watch consists of a slim 34.8mm dial which is crafted from 18kt rose gold and stainless steel. Both the dial and the case have a rectangle shape. The dial is silver with Roman numerals for index markers and has blur hands. The strap is made from an elegant brown leather. The watch is driven by a quartz movement and is waterproof up to 30 meters.

A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Chronograph Now In Pink Gold (SIHH 2018) - Monochrome Watches
A. Lange & Sohne has introduced another iteration of its classic 1815 Chronograph this year at SIHH, now cased in warm 18ct pink gold but with the same iconic pulsation dial. Considered by many to be the ultimate expression of a purist chronograph, these latest versions will be sure to strike a chord with collectors, who now find themselves literally spoilt for choice. Will it be the distinctive and powerful black dial or the equally elegant yet slightly more understated argente dial? Perhaps one of each? We can dream. ?By now, I think I can safely assume that you are familiar with the A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Chronograph. After all, we have written about this awesome watch several times before here on MONOCHROME, including this stunning version with a black dial and white gold case that was released last year. Perhaps more significant, however, was the Boutique Edition from 2015, which we covered here. Why was it so special, you ask? Well, the main reason is because it heralded a
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver Chronograph 26703ST (specs & price) - Monochrome Watches
In terms of Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, the choice is vast and you could easily find the right one. You’ll have the classical one (the 15400), the luxurious and slim one (our favorite here at Monochrome-Watches, the 15202ST) but you can also go for sportier ones, with the Offshore collection, that includes the recently renewed Chronographs and the Diver edition (also one of our favorites here). What about if you mix these two? What about a diving chronograph? It’s exactly what AP?is about to introduce with the new?Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver Chronograph 26703ST – and be prepared, it is very, very colorful.Basically, with this new?Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver Chronograph 26703ST, the brand mixes two of its best-sellers, both in the Offshore collection: the chronograph and the diver. Two watches that are widely known, two watches that are icons in the world of horology. One is a pure tool for Divers (of course with a luxurious feel, AP obliged) a
The Auction Hammer - Cartier Tortue Monopoussoir 13 - Monochrome Watches
In the last couple of years it has become a trend; watches that the high-end brands make especially for one or more of their boutiques. Often this results in unique color combinations and very limited production. Today we found such a watch, but this one is so much more rare….??It’s a Cartier Tortue Monopoussoir Boutique Edition, but not just ?a Boutique Edition; Cartier issued this watch in 1999 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of it’s boutique in Paris! The word ‘Boutique’ is actually kind of an understatement for the Cartier Boutique, because you could better call it flagship store. The store is situated at 13 Rue de la Paix, in a building that was purchased in 1899 by Alfred Cartier. In this very building many incredible events took place; from the remounting of the famous Hope diamond to the conception of many of Cartier's now legendary watch models. First Look: The New and Cool Tissot PR516 Powermatic 80
Earlier this year, Tissot introduced a revised version of its classic 1960s watch, the PR516 Chronograph Mechanical. Stylish with just the right retro touch, well-proportioned, featuring a hand-wound movement and offered at an accessible price, it got very positive reactions from the watch community – and from us, too. Lo and behold, another model is treated to the same winning formula, this time in a classic time-and-date version with even more affordability but still with a super stylish look. Here’s the new Tissot PR516 Powermatic 80, which could well be another home run.?The formula that has been used to create the PR516 Chronograph Mechanical has not changed much in the context of this time-and-date Powermatic 80 model. Still named after a 1956 collection, the Particulierement Robuste, for particularly robust (PR), the model is mainly known under its 1965 shape, designed by Lucien Gurtner, with its distinctive hollowed steel bracelet. While this style has already been
