Luxury Watches |
The Grand Seiko 9F Quartz has a low-profile simple design, but despite that, it has an impactful presence. The personality of the watch enhances your look, and makes you look highly sophisticated. The black leather belt of the watch is extremely soft and comfortable and it balances the silver case of the watch beautifully. Plus, the simple analog display of the watch gives it a very refined and neat look. Moreover, the date display is set at the 3 o'clock position.

Introducing The Audemars Piguet Millenary Quadriennium - Monochrome Watches
Audemars Piguet improves the annual calendar, so it almost becomes a perpetual calendar. That might sound strange, but we’ll explain. This new calendar is now introduced in the?Audemars Piguet Millenary Quadriennium. Its name is latin for a quadrennium, which?is a four-year period. The watch also features the infamous AP escapement, so all-together a mighty interesting timepiece!?The Millenary has always been a bit of a an odd-shaped timepiece, often chosen by collector who’re perse drawn to a round case, and like the elegant oval shape, with beautiful alternating satin brushed and polished finishing, and stepped lugs. The Millenary always features an off centre dial, which was probably most notable on the magnificent Millenary Star Wheel that we reviewed extensively. The new Audemars Piguet Millenary Quadriennium has an off-centre dial for the hours, minutes, date, month and day of the week, and a small subsidiary dial for the running seconds. Ad - Scroll to con
H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Flying Hours (SIHH 2018) - Specs & Price
When we hear the name H. Moser & Cie., we usually have classic and clean design in mind – or sometimes a certain sense of provocation, with the Swiss Mad Watch or the recent?Swiss Icons Watch. Yet, for the first time in its history, the Schaffhausen-based manufacture has revisited its time display methods to create a new, disc-based system. Meet the?Endeavour Flying Hours with planetary display of hours and minutes. With the?Endeavour Flying Hours, Moser introduces a truly original display of the time, which has been conceived in association with sister-company Hautlence (which are known for their unusual displays). At first, we though this new Moser watch was inspired by the well-known Audemars Piguet Star Wheel. However, we were wrong. On the AP and the Golden Wheel by Arnold and Son, the time is indicated by the means of 3 hour discs that rotate first on a central axis and then on their own axis. The hour numeral is used as a pointer for the minutes when running along the f
Rewind - Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept, Worlds Thinnest Mechanical Watch
It may have only been an exercise in style, a technical demonstration and a prototype – even though we still hope to see this watch one day in stores – the Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept remains one of the most staggering timepieces we’ve seen recently. Forget about the design and the rather simple time-only display… This watch had a single, very straightforward purpose: to put Piaget back on centre stage, repositioning it as one of the few masters of ultra-thin watchmaking, by smashing all previous records for thinness. And it did that in 2018 with the Altiplano Ultimate Concept, a watch that is thinner than most movements, thinner than a coin… and thinner than everything else mechanical. Period! We can’t overlook the ongoing battle between Piaget and Bvlgari for the title of “king of ultra-thin”. This is a healthy competition after all, as it has pushed both brands to innovate in a field that had been neglected. And this resulted in i
Introducing: 1952 Observatory Dial Limited Edition for Phillips by Massena LAB and Raul Pages
Not only are the watches crafted in collaboration with William Massena and his Massena LAB well executed and exciting, but they also serve as invaluable educational tools. They ignite a curiosity to delve deeper into horological history, exploring the lives of notable figures, the evolution of brands, distinctive styles, and the captivating mechanics behind them. Among the latest releases stands the 1952 Observatory Dial Limited Edition by Massena LAB, a testament to this ethos. Presented in partnership with auction house Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo, it is all about craftsmanship and historical reverence.True to expectations, the case of the new watch draws inspiration from vintage designs, citing “highly collectable watches from the 1940s and 50s” as its muse. Crafted from 316L stainless steel, it has a modest diameter of 38.5mm and a height of 10mm. It embodies a refined retro aesthetic with its distinctive stepped bezel and a harmonious blend of brushed
Announcing "The Monochrome Video Week" - Monochrome Watches
Today marks the start?of the “Monochrome Video Week“. Over the next?five days we will be showing recent, as yet unpublished videos that we shot on?location in Villeret, Neuchatel and Geneva. The week culminates on?Friday with our most-viewed videos, also filmed on location in Glashutte (Germany), and in Switzerland in Biel, Geneva and Villeret. Just to be clear, these aren’t?corporate videos from?some of our favourite watches brands. These are?movies filmed in our own style, by our own crew, and on subjects of our choosing. So, for a change of pace, instead of showing you photos of watches or giving you?a written description of a manufacture visit, we’re showing you all of it?in the best possible way; film. After all, there’s no?better ‘tool’ than movies to explore the fascinating world of fine watchmaking. So sit back, relax, grab a big bag of popcorn?and get ready for what we have lined up for you during the?“Monochrome Video Week“
