First Look: The Bulgari Aluminium GMT x Fender Limited Edition
Bulgari's novelties for Geneva Watch Days are grouped around the theme of sound. Among the more classical notes of its new chiming watches, Bulgari is also introducing a special version of its Aluminium GMT inspired by the famous Stratocaster guitar made by Fender in 1954. Donning the livery of the original Stratocaster, the new Bulgari Aluminium GMT is a limited edition of 1,200 pieces. Two years ago, Ulysse Nardin unveiled a series of supercharged Blast models fusing design cues from the Skeleton Tourbillon and the Skeleton X. Exposing every last mechanical detail of the skeletonised flying tourbillon movement, the distinctive feature of this family is the powerful double X traversing both sides of the dial. The Ulysse Nardin Blast Tourbillon stages its return in a two-tone rose gold and blue PVD titanium case with matching-coloured accents to highlight the mechanical spectacle.Stealth aircraftThe sharp, edgy architecture of the 45mm Blast case is designed to emulate the flat planes of stealth aircraft carefully oriented to avoid radar detection. Although it has already appeared in rose gold with a black ceramic bezel, this model combines 18k rose gold with a central case and bezel in blue PVD titanium.
