This Grand Seiko is a timepiece whose design is one step ahead of the rest. The front of the case has an exquisite mirror finish, and it shines bright even in the dim indoor lighting. The white dial has a sense of absolute elegance and has perfect visibility while also maintaining a premium texture. The watch is packed with notable features, such as date jump at 3-hour mark, a precision battery-powered quartz movement, and a three-strand stainless steel strap to compliment the case. Roughly ten years ago I fell in love with a watch that I saw in an ad in a watch magazine. At the time I had no idea about complications, different levels of finish or just the basic functioning of a mechanical watch. I just knew that watch was STUNNING. It was the Roger Dubuis Golden Square Flying Tourbillon, with a white dial and huge black roman numerals.?While this still is a watch that I’d love to add to my collection one day, if funds will ever permit this.
