A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Thin Honeygold Homage to F. A. Lange
On an icy winter's day, 175 years ago, 30-year-old entrepreneur Ferdinand Adolph Lange laid the cornerstone of his pocket watch workshop in the small town of Glashutte, Saxony. To celebrate this milestone in Lange's watchmaking saga, A. Lange & Sohne presents the 1815 Thin Honeygold “Homage to F.A. Lange”. A straightforward two-hand watch in a limited edition of 175 pieces, the case is made from Lange's exclusive Honeygold alloy and comes with a glossy white enamel dial and special finishes on the movement. Because of the importance the brand has invested in this anniversary, there will be a trilogy of special timepieces bearing the “Homage to F.A. Lange” appellation: the 1815 Rattrapante Honeygold, the Tourbograph Perpetual Honeygold and this 1815 Thin Honeygold. All three models hail from the 1815 family, a collection of watches that celebrate the birth year of founder Ferdinand Adolph Lange. Ad - Scroll to continue with article
IWC Big Pilots Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN Ceratanium Review
With roots that go back to the 1940s and, more importantly, a production history that started in the mid-1990s, IWC‘s Pilot’s Watch collection is one of the brand’s most established ranges, and it comprises almost all complications and movements that the brand has managed to create over the years. Of course, Kurt Klaus’ perpetual calendar is no exception to the rule, and the Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar has been seen, even recently, in multiple editions, such as the new Racing Green or the blue-on-steel model of the permanent collection. But today, it’s a TOP GUN watch that is released, which means tactical black colour scheme. But what’s more interesting here is not the look, but the materials, as we’re looking at the brand’s first watch entirely made of Ceratanium, case AND bracelet. Meet the new IWC Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN Ceratanium IW503604.?If you think a bit… The overall idea behind this watch cou

This was the occasion for IWC to unveil a dedicated timepiece, the Timezoner Spitfire Edition “The Longest Flight”. And now that the mission is accomplished and the world tour completed, the brand introduces the IWC Big Pilot's Watch Big Date Spitfire Edition “Mission Accomplished” Ref. IW510506, a new edition true to the design codes introduced with the new Spitfire collection. On their record-breaking journey in the “Silver Spitfire”, the two founders of the Boultbee Flight Academy covered almost 43,000 kilometres in four months, visiting over 20 countries on their way.
