The Broadway Auto Chrono adds burgundy to the American watch collection, which makes it a whole class apart from the black and silver ones. The Automatic Chronograph successfully shows that style and substance can be ideally coupled in a timepiece that's made for the Broadway. The watch is automatic with H-21 movement; the H-21 is an automatic chronograph featuring a 60-hour power reserve. This timepiece is also waterproof to up to 100 meters and has a sapphire crystal on the dial.

Zenith El-Primero Pilot/Diver 3019PHC - Monochrome Watches
The watch we will show you today launches a new section here at Monochrome. A section exclusively focused on vintage watches. Why exclusively, and why vintage, you might wonder? Vintage watches are the watches of days gone by since they were manufactured in an era when mechanical was the only way to go. These timepieces were designed and manufactured mainly to fulfill their specific functions. They were luxury items; they were symbols of status; but mainly and most importantly the vast majority of them were created to serve a certain purpose, in a world in need of accurate time-keeping instruments. The submariner was actually used by divers, recreational and professional alike. The Omega Speedmaster helped the astronauts of Apollo XIII to return back home. The IWC Mk XI was used by the British and Commonwealth Navigators to find their way through dead reckoning navigation. The Breitling Navitimer was actually employed by civilian pilots to calculate basic parameters of their flight,
First Look: The 2mm Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon is the new Worlds Thinnest Tourbillon
One field of expertise immediately comes to mind when thinking about Piaget: the art of crafting ultra-thin watches. Throughout its history, the brand has become synonymous with legendary calibres, such as the 2mm thin 9P introduced in 1957 and the 2.3mm thin 12P micro-rotor movement unveiled in 1960. Approximately a decade ago, the groundbreaking 900P heralded a radical reengineering of watch architecture, seamlessly fusing the mainplate with the caseback. This innovation laid the groundwork for the creation of the Altiplano Ultimate Concept, unveiled in 2018 at a mere 2mm thickness, making it the thinnest mechanical watch ever produced at the time. As the brand celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2024, a milestone to mark that date was to be expected. The latest iteration of the AUC, the Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon, retains its remarkable 2mm profile, a hallmark of its predecessors. However, it now boasts the addition of a tourbillon, making it the thinnest tourbillon watch

Patek Philippe Nautilus Annual Calendar 5726 Gradient Blue Dial (Specs & Price)
These days it seems that any watch model from Patek Philippe that has the word Nautilus in its title is in great demand – and short supply. The two crowd favourites are of course the Ref. 5711 and the Ref. 5712. Both have seen their resale values skyrocket in the past few years and it doesn't look like things will abate any time soon. In fact, the last I heard, the wait time for a 5711 from the Patek Salon here in London is around a decade. Of course, there are more than two models in the Nautilus line-up. Today, we're taking a closer look at one that is perhaps sometimes overlooked by eager would-be collectors. This is the Patek Philippe Nautilus Ref. 5726/1A, complete with new gradient blue dial.A Little Bit Of HistoryIn 2006, Patek Philippe celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus by redesigning the entire collection and launching four new models. This was a major move and sparked a new level of interest in the brand's luxury steel sports watches. Included amongst the n
Oris Big Crown Bronze Pointer Date 40mm Bronze Dial / Introducing, Price
If you’re into watches, the Oris Big Crown Pointer Date should be no stranger to you. In a few years, this watch has become the signature element of the pilot-oriented Big Crown collection, with its nice vintage design and practical function. Still, this apparently simple watch has a lot to tell, as it is far from a new design, and second, it actually helped to make Oris what it is today. After multiple editions in steel or in bronze, Oris presents a new Big Crown Bronze Pointer Date 40mm, with its typically patinated case and now a matching bronze dial. Overview.History of the Big Crown Pointer DateOris has a well-documented history in the world of aviation, having made its first pilot's pocket watch in the early 1910s. This was followed by the company's first pilot's wristwatch in 1917, a watch that?could only?be adjusted when a button above the crown was activated – something featured on the 2017 re-edition. Eventually came the creation of the Oris Big Crown Pointer Date
