The Hamilton Khaki Black Dial Tan Suede Men's Watch is a somewhat sober watch when you look at it. With its brown leather straps and light brown numeric in the dial, the overall look of the watch is somewhat of soberness and sophistication. The black dial with its luminous hands perfectly complements one another and also allow you to easily view the time at night. The watch is also water resistant at 50m.

A closer look at the dressy yet casual Tissot Chemin des Tourelles In Blue
Tissot is among the largest Swiss watch brands (by volume) and renowned for stylish yet affordable mechanical collections. The PRX collection has been the talk of the town lately, but the Chemin Des Tourelles collection is just as compelling. There are three sizes available throughout the line (34mm, 39mm and 42mm), but we're focusing specifically on the Chemin Des Tourelles in 39mm, with a refined blue dual-texture dial. It’s one of those watches that are well-rounded enough to be an excellent choice for just about anyone, regardless of budget. It certainly left us impressed after some wrist time. The stainless steel case is universally sized at 39mm in diameter and 11.2mm in height. Contemporary without being oversized, compact without being tiny, basically. There's a (slightly) domed AR sapphire crystal protecting the dial, with an exhibition case back on the reverse side, and combined with polished and brushed elements, it can dress up or down. In fact, it would be equally at
Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso with Red Lacquered Dial fetches record price - Monochrome Watches
Jaeger-LeCoultre watches hit record prices at?Antiquorum auction in Geneva, that was held last week. One that particularly tickled us, is the stainless steel Reverso with red lacquer dial. It was sold for CHF 50,000 !!?This Reverso with red lacquered dial is the predecessor of this years JLC novelty, the new Grande Reverso Tribute to 1931 Rouge. Last year the French auction house Artcurial sold a Reverso with red lacquered dial for € 28,000 Euro and another was sold for CHF 35,000 in May last year by Antoquorum. Ad - Scroll to continue with article It looks like vintage models of the JLC Reverso are seriously gaining value and I’m curious whether this rise is lasting. Of course vintage Sports models and Patek Philippe complicated watches are a sure thing for fetching extreme high prices. This seems quite restricted to these brands, like the same Antiquor
IWC Big Pilot's Watch 43 Collection IW3293 - Review, Video, Price
Even though IWC Pilot’s Watch collection resurfaced in the early 1990s with the Flieger DoppelChronograph 3711, quickly followed by the Ceramic Flieger 3705 – as we’ve seen recently with the Tribute watch – the most emblematic watch of this entire collection is, without doubt, the Big Pilot’s Watch and its oversized case. Bold, immediately recognisable and ultra-functional, this watch defines the overall concept of the IWC Pilot’s Watch collection since its introduction in 2002. Today, this icon is joined by a “less-big Big Pilot” watch, a downsized, more rational version, the IWC Big Pilot’s Watch 43. New size, new movement, simplified display, new interchangeable straps, improved specifications… We tell you all about the IW3293 collection in this article and the video above. The Big Pilot’s storyBefore we even move to modern references of the Big Pilot’s watch, we have to look back at IWC’s history. The Vintage Corner - The Story of Dugena - Or the Poor Mans Heuer?
“Poor Man's Heuer” is a term often used in the vintage collector's world. It refers to a sport or tool watch that was made in the 1960s and 1970s, with design or style cues from racing Heuer watches, but with another brand stamped on the dial. Whether it's the bright colours to accent the dial and hands, the large oversize cases with radial-brushed finishes or racing car references, these were features originally used by Heuer, one of the most prolific chronograph manufacturers of the last century, which also produced watches under other names. The concept of “Poor Man's Heuer” originated in the online Heuer community as “a joke”, something to call a watch, that while not having been made by Heuer, has the look and feel of a vintage Heuer. And today, we'll look at one of these watches, the Dugena Siffert Chronograph – which certainly has something to do with the Heuer Autavia. This situation occurred way before the brands started engaging with h
Bespoke Vacheron Constantin up for auction at the Louvre Museum
Over the last few years, Vacheron Constantin has extended on its tradition for combining horological complications with one-of-a-kind designs by way of its Les Cabinotiers. The special workshop is home to some of the world's most complex (thus most expensive) timepieces – each one made to measure by a very time-consuming and painstaking process. In this way, the Swiss watchmaker can demonstrate its mastery and expertise in various fields. In addition to creating watches that distil the essence of Les Cabinotiers, Vacheron Constantin has been holding an event for the last three years where it invites its clients from around the world to view some of its most exquisite Les Cabinotiers watches in a bid to showcase a very unique approach to watchmaking. This year is a little different, however. The Louvre, Paris, the world’s largest art museum.Organised at a time when the financial challenges associated with the arts and recreation industry are unprecedented, Vacheron Constantin
