The Hamilton Khaki's dial is divided into three circles; the innermost circle presents a 24 hour time marker; whereas the middle circle presents the 12-hour marker ¨C presented in Arabic numerals, and the outer most circle mark the minute markers. The dial has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal covering as well. The date of the month aperture can be located at 3 o' clock. The durability of the wristwatch is elongated by the eighty hours' worth of power reserve.

A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Rattrapante Honeygold - Review, Price
Today, we’ll review a special watch… Sure, it looks stunning, but there’s far more to this watch than its pretty face. The 1815 Rattrapante Honeygold represents many things. First of all, it’s always a pleasure to see an A. Lange & Sohne made of 18k Honeygold, the brand’s proprietary gold alloy, always reserved for special occasions. Second, this watch celebrates the founder of both the watchmaking industry in Glashutte and the Lange brand. Finally, and this is hard to believe after so many watches with a chronograph function, but this is the first stand-alone split-seconds chronograph of A. Lange & Sohne. Superbly executed and quite spectacular… Let’s dive into the details that make this 1815 Rattrapante Honeygold a pretty special watch.?Homage to F.A. Lange and to 175 years of watchmaking in GlashutteThe 1815 Rattrapante Honeygold is part of an important trilogy of watches for the brand, all executed in the same proprietary gold alloy
The New Bulgari Serpenti Misteriosi And Monete Catene Secret Watches (Live Pics & Price) - Monochrome Watches
Among the six novelties Bulgari will unveil during Geneva Watch Days are four extraordinary high jewellery secret watches. The brand's famous mascot, the Serpenti, snakes back into the limelight decked out in gemstones and powered by the smallest mechanical movement on the market. Another iconic Bulgari design is the incorporation of ancient Roman coins into jewellery and watch designs, and the Roman brand releases two secret Monete Catene watches attached to the wrist with supple chain bracelets, also equipped with Bulgari's miniature Piccolissimo calibre BVL 100.Last year Bulgari had a treat for fans of the Serpenti and launched a collection of Serpenti Misteriosi high jewellery watches powered by the brand's tiny, weeny Piccolissimo mechanical movement. Taking advantage of the brand's formidable know-how in developing ultra-thin movements for the Octo Finissimo collection, the Piccolissimo calibre BVL 100 measures just 12.30mm across, is 2.50mm thick and weighs 1.30 grams. One of th
Hands-On: The New Hublot Big Bang Integrated Automatic Tourbillon Full Carbon Texalium
In physics, the Big Bang signals the beginning of time; in watchmaking, it is synonymous with Hublot‘s eponymous collection. Imploding on the scene in 2005, the Hublot Big Bang was designed to shock and awe with its large loud cases fusing state-of-the-art materials. Fusion is the operative word again as the Big Bang steps up the action with a micro-rotor and tourbillon staged inside an ultra-lightweight carbon fibre and Texalium case with an integrated strap that looks uncannily like a metallic bracelet. Similar to the Big Bang Integral Tourbillon Full Sapphire of 2021, the Hublot Big Bang Integrated Tourbillon Full Texalium-Carbon (yup, it’s a mouthful) is a powerful mix of old and new combining in-house horological weight with a radically resistant yet lightweight composite.Lightweight yet toughThe striking interwoven texture of the 43mm case, with its thickness of 14.15mm, is produced using carbon fibre. Renowned for its resilience and lightness, the carbon fibre case w
@winewhiskywatches and his IWC Safari Big Pilot (AKA the Tribute to 5002) - Monochrome Watches
When Chris Granger-Herr, the CEO of IWC, posted a photo of himself wearing the prototype for this updated version of the original 5002-generation Big Pilot in matte titanium while on his African Safari, collectors took notice. Shortly after, IWC announced a limited edition of 100 watches, which sold out almost instantly via Instagram (despite a six-month wait for them to be built). The watch was immediately nicknamed the Safari Big Pilot, while IWC officially named it the Tribute to 5002. Today we’re talking to @winewhiskywatches about his IWC Big Pilot Tribute to 5002 ref. IW501007 AKA the “Safari” Big Pilot.?When Chris Grainger-Herr posted that picture on Instagram, I was travelling from the Netherlands to Switzerland to film one the MONOCHROME videos. So by the time I found out about this particular “Safari” Big Pilot, it was long sold out and that was that. So when I saw that @winewhiskywatches (who recently told us about his Armin Strom Resonance) own
Hands-On Bell & Ross Vintage BR V2-92 Steel Heritage (Specs & Price)
For several years, Bell & Ross was mainly known for its square, pilot-inspired watches. But not everybody wanted to wear such a large and bold 46mm watch (the BR-01) and what became a true icon of modern watchmaking could have become a trap for the brand. Bell & Ross had to evolve. This was the mission of the “Vintage Collection”. Entirely redesigned in 2017, this year the brand?adds a few vintage elements to make this collection even cooler, with the Steel Heritage. Today, we take a closer look at the?BR V2-92 Steel Heritage.A watch brand simply cannot rely on one single watch/collection, at least when it has the ambition to sell more than just a few thousand pieces a year. If having a true identity shared by all models is a necessity, a single concept/design is dangerous – think Panerai, for instance. Diversity coupled with consistency is key. Knowing that the BR-01 and BR-03 watches – what B&R calls the “instrument collection” –
