The work of Rune Bakkendorff, a young and upcoming watchmaker from Denmark has recently been brought to our attention through our friends of The Limited Edition. Curious to learn what Rune has been doing so far, and is going to do into the future, we reached out to him and asked him a series of questions. Presented in titanium and in pink gold, the new Vacheron Constantin Overseas Tourbillon Skeleton houses the calibre 2160, beautifully redesigned and streamlined in a modern openworked spirit.Modelled on the Overseas Tourbillon, the new model is the first tourbillon skeleton watch in the Overseas collection. It comes in two versions, one in 18k pink gold and the other in grade 5 titanium. The titanium model is presented as the first by the Maison to be entirely made of this same metal – from crown to bezel and from bracelet to case.
