The sturdy looking IWC Pilot's wrist watch is drowned in silver. The main dial houses three sub dials on the left side. A division of aperture just beside 3 o' clock helps keep track of the day of the week and date of the month. With three screw down crowns, the dial completes the full circle with the help of a silver bracelet. IWC Pilot's wrist watch looks like the watches which will survive the test of time. With the power reserve of forty-four hours, the dial remains protected by sapphire crystal glass.

Introducing: An X-Ray Unitas Adorns the Dial of this Mido Multifort Mechanical
The Unitas, known under the names ETA 6498 and 6497 (depending on its configuration, Lepine or Savonette), is without a doubt one of the most important and most long-lasting movements of the Swiss industry. This simple, no-nonsense but reliable hand-wound movement has been produced since the 1950s, yet originates from classic pocket watch calibres. Often seen as an entry-level and quite mundane alternative, it shouldn’t however be overlooked. And Mido, a brand owned by the Swatch Group, owner of ETA, has decided to give this movement its credentials back, putting an X-ray image of its mechanics right on the dial. Pretty cool, maybe even cooler than an entry-level openworked movement. There’s been a bit of a trend recently with so-called sketched dials, watches where the movement inside the case was suggested by a drawing on the dial – such as this Octo Finissimo Automatic 140th anniversary, or a unique Czapek for TimeforArt auction. Mido somehow brings the same concept
Introducing The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Paris 2024 Edition
Swiss brand Omega has been the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic games for over 90 years. It all started back in 1932, at the Los Angeles Olympics, which marked the introduction of the three-level winner's podium and the assignment of one company to time the events. Now, in exactly one year's time, the world will be turning its attention to the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games Paris 2024, and Omega will mark its 31st participation as Official Timekeeper. As a tribute to this involvement and to celebrate the upcoming Games of the XXXIII Olympiad, Omega is released in a Paris 2024 special edition watch, based on its classic Seamaster Diver 300M.?Only available for now in the Paris-based boutiques of the brand (7 in total), this new Seamaster Paris 2024 Edition is a luxurious version of an all-time classic of the brand, intended to evoke the coveted medals that every athlete strives for. As such, while sharing most of its specifications with a standard edition of the Seamaster Diver
Weekly Watch Photo - Omega Seamaster Ploprof - Monochrome Watches
I recently stumbled across this photo of an Omega Seamaster Ploprof and I love it. It’s a great wrist shot of a watch that’s not so easy to capture.?Last Friday I visited the Timzone UK forum and it was a long time since I went there. If you’re a frequent forum visitor, you already know the Friday rollcall posts… everyone replies with a wrist shot of what’s on his wrist that day. There where several that really appealed so over the next few weeks I’ll be using some of the forum member’s wrist shots. Ad - Scroll to continue with article I actually never was a fan of the vintage Omega Seamaster Ploprof and although some friends went nuts over it, I never understood its charm. Show me a vintage Heuer Monaco or Autavia and I’ll become very enthusiastic. But a strange thing has happened since Omega released this re-issu
Vacheron Constantin Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Skeleton
For this 2020 edition of Watches & Wonders, Vacheron Constantin presents its Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Skeleton, a stunning display of watchmaking prowess housed in a luxurious pink gold case with an ultra-slim height of just 8.1mm. Nothing has changed regarding the case, its proportions, the layout or the beating heart of the movement powered by Vacheron's prestigious Calibre 1120 QP. The novelty of this 2020 edition lies in its intrepid skeletonisation. Hand-finished movement parts, in line with the Maison's longstanding tradition of Haute Horlogerie, are combined with grey NAC-treated parts for a contemporary face in keeping with the sporty spirit of the Overseas.Brief Background of the OverseasIn 1977, Vacheron Constantin introduced reference 222 to mark the brand's 222nd anniversary. Designed by Jorg Hysek, the 222 was a high-end sports watch with a tonneau-shaped 120m water-resistant case, a serrated bezel and an integrated bracelet. Reinvented in 2016, under the
