Like some other Longines watches, this one also comes with an automatic self-winding system. It features a sunray colored black dial with gilt hands. A small date calendar is located near the 15:00-hour marker. It is water-resistant to 30 bar and made using quality stainless steel and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.

In-Depth - The Evolution of The Regulator Watch by Chronoswiss
Chronoswiss and regulators are synonymous these days. The company was the first to introduce this style on production wristwatches back in 1987 and has built a brand identity around it. That's not to say that three-hand and chronograph pieces don't exist (they're alive and well in the Sirius and Timemaster collections), but regulators have become such a specialty that the others are often overshadowed. Not resting on its laurels, Chronoswiss has modernized the style with multi-dimensional and complex dials, skeletonization and advanced complications. Today we're taking a closer look at Chronoswiss and the evolution of the regulator watch. The regulator is the signature complication that defines Chronoswiss, and that makes this brand unique. Many pieces in Chronoswiss collection bring an almost futuristic aesthetic to a design that debuted hundreds of years ago in master clocks that allowed pocket watchmakers to quickly set their timepieces. The concept is very simple - the hour, minute a
Introducing Norqain Watches and Partnership with Kenissi (Live Pics)
Creating your start-up watch company off the ground is not an easy task. Still, this is what 32-year old Ben Kuffer did with Norqain. Created in 2018 in Nidau, Switzerland, the brand crafts functional and versatile watches offered at an accessible price. Contemporary and with a clear identity, Norqain is already present at some of the world's leading retailers such as Bucherer, Tourneau, Westime, Govberg or Wempe The brand is now ready to invest on the movement side and teams up with Kenissi.?Ben Kuffer, founder of Norqain WatchesBen Kuffer is connected to his roots and in touch with the times. Proud to be part of a family developing and producing watches for over four decades, he left Breitling in 2018 to create his own brand, Norqain. He brought in his father, Marc Kuffer, who owned and managed Roventa Henex SA, a prominent Swiss private label manufacturer. What happens at TAG Heuer? (unemployment, layoffs, repositioning) - Monochrome-Watches
The last Baselworld edition seemed to be a good one for TAG Heuer. We saw the introduction of a brand new, in-house developed and manufactured, chronograph movement, named calibre CH80 (initially introduced as calibre 1969). And there was a new, and very good looking, TAG Heuer Carrera that was equipped with this new in-house movement. Shortly after Baselworld we already heard that it would get a few design changes, which we showed you here. However, the time of celebration is over. First we heard that the launch of?calibre CH80 was postponed. Then, we read that TAG Heuer had to let some?personnel go, so we wondered: what is going on at TAG Heuer? We already told you that we were?impressed?by the new Carrera CH80 – a truly inspired watch, with an in-house movement. The design was great, the specifications of the movement too. It was called to a great success. But in the middle of this celebration, the LVMH group and Jean-Claude Biver (head of watches for?the group and previously C
Monochrome Shakes Its Cup For The AHCIs 30th Anniversary Fund-Raiser - Monochrome-Watches
If you know us (you're here aren't you?) you know that we have a fondness for the Academie Horlogere des?Createurs Independants (AHCI). The AHCI are the body of independent watchmakers established to preserve the tradition of watchmaking. This year they celebrate their 30th Anniversary and are raising money to sponsor their initiative to digitize key watchmaking documents and make them available to all watchmakers and hobbyists.I'm not sure about you but my Rolling Stones Steel Wheels tour t-shirt resides in a box marked DO NOT TOUCH - UNDER PENTALTY OF SARCASM! That shirt is more than just a (2 sizes too small) cotton under garment - it is my claim to the band that gave us so many hits (and that stupid theme song for the launch of the OTHER popular GUI computer operating system uff). When I wear that shirt - well - when I look at that shirt, I feel great pride in knowing that Mick and Keef' probably got $0.45 of my money. Now is your chance to underwrite the Academie Horlogere des?Cre
Event Report - Behind The Scenes With Tissot at The Tour de France
Pain, passion, glory The Tour de France is widely considered the most prestigious and most difficult cycling race. 3,350 kilometres are being raced in 2022, split up over 21 days of racing. Every detail counts in this challenging competition between 176 riders, and, against time. Cycling fans all remember the 1989 Greg LeMond victory over Laurent Fignon, by just 8 seconds, the smallest ever in the history of the Tour de France: timekeeping is essential to the dream of racing cyclists. Tissot has been involved in a range of cycling events for over 50 years and, as the official timekeeper of the Tour de France, the brand plays an essential role in the captivating narrative that unfolds every summer. We were lucky enough to be invited for a formidable weekend in Lausanne, to go behind-the-scenes of timekeeping at the Tour de France 2022.Yours truly participating (above) – below: inside Le Tour, a unique opportunity to ride the last 50 kilometres of Tour de France 2022 Stage 8, with
