Review 2021 Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional Master Chronometer
This probably won’t come as a surprise to you but… there’s a new regular production?Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional! As far as I can say, this is big news, simply because we’re talking about one of the most iconic and most respected watches ever produced, and a watch that has been in continuous production since 1957. Clearly, Omega wasn’t allowed to mess with this watch and everything that had to be changed, removed, redesigned or updated had to be carefully weighed. We covered the launch of the watch a couple of days ago; however, such an update needed to be explained once we had the opportunity to see the watch. Why? Because actually, almost every single element of this Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional Master Chronometer is new… But (thankfully) it still very much looks like a Moonwatch.?The Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional… until nowBefore we look at the new Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional Master Chronometer, it is important
Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chrono reviewed - Monochrome Watches
When Omega introduced the new Seamaster Planet Ocean with the new in-house caliber 9300 last year, this was something that really interested me. Omega was so kind to let me review this dive watch with impressive specifications and impressive dimensions. ?It takes a few days or weeks to get a good idea what a watch is really like and how it’s on the wrist. Is it really that big or heavy, does wear comfortable, how is it in different circumstances, is it easy to read the time and how does it perform? I strapped the Seamaster Planet Ocean Chrono on the wrist for six weeks and wrote a review. It’s a tough job, but somebody’s gotto do it… Ad - Scroll to continue with article When I became interested in watches, the Omega Seamaster ‘James Bond’ was one of the first watches that caught my attention. Together with the Submariner and
Seiko Darth Tuna SBBN013 Prospex - A long-term personal review (live pics, specs & price) - Monochrome-Watches
Last week article was a prequel, a necessary “mise-en-bouche” for the long-time and highly personal review of the?Seiko Darth Tuna SBBN013 Prospex that you’re about to read. The Seiko Tuna is an important, yet iconic watch, a pioneer on its own – and a collection?that boasted during its 40 years of life many innovations, with one and only goal in mind, satisfying the professional divers with an efficient and reliable instrument. It was important to learn first about the history of Seiko Tuna before moving to this review of the?Seiko Darth Tuna SBBN013 Prospex. Now you’ll certainly ask yourself why a quartz watch came to be reviewed on Monochrome? Well, in one word, just be aware that it’s not every cheap quartz watch, it’s a Seiko Prospex. And if it has a quartz movement, it’s just to be even more reliable, secured and precise. After a review of the entry-level Seiko SKX007, it’s time now to move to serious watches, with the Darth T
Introducing: The Oris Divers Sixty-Five Cotton Candy White Star
Unquestionably one of the best-selling models at Oris, the Divers Sixty-Five resurfaced after a period of dormancy in 2015 with its vintage appeal and ancestor's traits practically intact. A year later, Oris revisited its Divers Sixty-Five in a limited edition with a larger 42mm diameter and a bronze case dedicated to Carl Brashear with a dial that would become the blueprint for the collection going forward. Bronze cases have appeared at key junctions in Oris' timeline, including the bronze cases of the compact 38mm Cotton Candy models with eye-catching summery pastel dials. Today, Oris releases a full-bronze edition of its Divers Sixty-Five Cotton Candy with a bright white dial announcing the advent of winter and fun on the slopes.Whenever Oris issues a bronze model, fans of the brand know that a regular production model is probably lurking in the pipeline. Like the first 2016 Oris Carl Brashear time-and-date signalling the debut of the new face of the collection, the 43mm bronze Carl
