Luxury Watches |
The Conquest Collection by Longines is one of its kind. It has many great pieces like the L37604966 which has a 43mm stainless steel case with a screw-down back. The bracelet of the watch is made from stainless steel as well and has a triple safety folding clasp. The dial of the watch is a cool blue. It provides a stark contrast against the silver of the case and the bracelet.

Hands-On: The Maen Skymaster 38 MKIII, a Cool & Accessible Racing Chronograph
Racing chronographs… It might not be as packed as a category as dive watches, but in all fairness, finding the right one for you is not going to be a walk in the park. Hundreds of alternatives (and good ones, on top of that) exist, ranging from affordable quartz models to attainable Swiss mechanical options, followed by classic luxury icons or high-end watches with basically no limit of price. But let’s say you’re looking for a cool, compact, vintage-oriented racing chronograph with a timeless appeal, powered by a reliable mechanical movement… In that case, the Stockholm-based, Dutch-rooted microbrand Maen might have a very compelling solution for you: the third iteration of its chronograph collection, the Skymaster 38 MKIII.?By no means competitors, but you’ll get the racing chronograph vibe and inspiration…Even if we narrow down our search for a racing chronograph to accessible watches powered by mechanical movements, there are still dozens of watc
Girard-Perregaux Laureato Absolute Ti 230 - Monochrome Watches
In the United Kingdom, the summer months in journalism are often referred to as the silly season’, a period generating very little newsworthy material, with journalists relying on more frivolous news stories to fill the pages. Well, 2021 seems to have reversed that trend. With the 2020 Olympics and a flurry of novelties from watchmakers who were not able to showcase their goods at the traditional venues (Watches & Wonders and the now-defunct Baselworld watch fair), not a day goes by without a new release. Just ahead of the only live' watch fair to be held this year (Geneva Watch Days from 30 August – 3 September), Girard-Perregaux has released a version of its popular Laureato Absolute in titanium. Apart from the handsome rendition of the Laureato Absolute in this distinctive lightweight metal, there's a nice bit of synchronicity in this story. The latest Laureato Absolute models are made of Ti 230 (titanium) and come with either a gradient blue or grey dial.?Background
Hands-On - Parmigiani Fleurier Kalpa Qualite Fleurier (Specs & Price)
At the SIHH 2018, Parmigiani Fleurier re-introduced one of its most emblematic models, the Kalpa. A shaped watch, it was originally introduced back in 2001 and, thanks to its bold and unique design, guided by ergonomics, it became a signature model in the collection. After three inaugural refreshed watches in January, the brand expands the range with a new, simpler time-and-date version – but it has a lot more to tell, with some serious certifications. Meet the new?Parmigiani Fleurier Kalpa Qualite Fleurier. For two years now, Parmigiani Fleurier has been reinterpreting its classics. This strategy started with the re-introduction in 2017 of Michel Parmigiani’s very first creation, the Toric. At the SIHH 2018, it was the turn of another well-known and iconic model, the Kalpa. This tonneau-shaped watch, with a bold, rather baroque design was immediately recognisable as part of the PF family. The new collection takes advantage of its unique shape and improved comfort, quality a
Introducing: The Sport Transparent Summer Vibe Of The Artya AquaSaphir
Artya was founded in 2010 in Geneva by Yvan Arpa, a Swiss watch designer with a wild, eccentric imagination. Using unusual materials like real bullets, dinosaur dung, tobacco, and even a case that was struck by a lightning bolt generated by a giant Tesla coil, Yvan Arpa’s watch designs are hard to categorise. His latest project is the AquaSaphir, a collection of sapphire crystal watches with summery colours. Touted as the “first aquatic watch with a case made of sapphire crystal“, it’s worth pointing out that it is not a bona fide diver; the case’s water resistance is limited to 60 metres and the bezel is fixed. However, if you’re on the hunt for a summer-ready watch with a cool turquoise transparent sapphire case powered by a COSC chronometer-certified movement and have a spare EUR 40,000, the AquaSaphir is an attractive candidate.Unlike the Artya Depth Gauge introduced in 2022 with its 300m water-resistant case, the graduated bezel of the AquaSaphi
Roger Dubuis extends Excalibur collection with a Chronograph - Monochrome Watches
After introducing the renewed Excalibur collection earlier this year, Roger Dubuis?announces?two new models?for the Excalibur collection.?There will be?a diamond-set Excalibur 36 with?a new bracelet and a new chronograph, the Excalibur 42 Chronograph.Roger Dubuis makes it easy: the number in the watch’s name stands for the actual diameter,?so the Excalibur 42 Chronograph is a men’s size watch. This particular one features the in-house automatic chronograph movement, caliber RD681, that is powered by a micro-rotor. In comparisson to calibner RD680, the new caliber RD681?features an
