Introducing The IWC Pilot Chronograph 41 Gold & Green IW388110
While the focus of this year for IWC is, undoubtedly, the return of the Genta-styled Ingenieur watch, relaunched with great fanfare in 4 different editions (including a handsome, yet costly titanium model), there is, of course, more to expect from the Schaffhausen brand.?You secretive little thing, IWC…! We’ve recently presented the new green, steel case Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar. It seems that the green theme goes on again, with the launch of a luxurious edition of the classic Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41, now dressed in an audacious combination of green and rose gold.?No major surprises here. Despite its bold character, due to an usual combination of colours, this luxurious edition of the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 relies on the same specifications as the steel counterpart introduced back in 2021, which was itself released first with a green dial (alongside a blue dial version, later followed by a classic black model). This means; a relatively compact cas
Omega Watches Launches Its Online Boutique in Europe
In tune with the times – and also with the current situation, with most brick-and-mortar shops closed – Omega goes digital and now offers the possibility for European collectors to purchase most of its watches online, via a newly opened boutique on its official website. This means that you can now order your Speedy or your Bond watch from home, and directly from the brand. The concept of an online boutique isn’t new to Omega Watches since the brand has been operating digital sales in the US and UK markets for a couple of years now – the US market benefited from the brand’s first online boutique back in 2017. Relying on this existing and successful track-record, the brand has decided to open its online boutique to the European market, with a wide selection of watches from the Speedmaster, Seamaster, Constellation and De Ville collections. Pre-Baselworld 2015 - Eterna Super KonTiki - Specs & Price - Monochrome-Watches
The name KonTiki should sound?familiar?to vintage collectors and dive watches aficionados. Since 1958, Eterna had a KonTiki watch in its collections, a watch made to celebrate?a daring expedition across the Pacific. Since 1962, there’s also the Super KonTiki, a professional edition with rotating bezel made to dive in deep salty waters. For Baselworld 2015, Eterna comes back with a vintage-inspired reissue of the Super KonTiki, that includes a regular collection plus a very cool limited edition. The Eterna Super KonTiki was kind of a superior watch back in 1962. It was the brand’s first dive watch with a rotating bezel and with a 200m water resistance. It was coming with all the classical attributes of a dive watch: a rotating bezel with a large and legible 60-minute scale, a black dial with massive?luminous indexes and a robust? stainless steel case.?Now, for Baselworld?2015, Eterna pays tribute to this iconic dive watch with the launch of new Super KonTiki models?inspired b
Introducing the New Ulysse Nardin Diver X Skeleton White
In 2021, when Ulysse Nardin married the Blast collection's skeletonised appearance to the design of its famous Diver watches, the result came in as a Diver X Skeleton, a model featuring a stainless steel case with a lightweight and highly durable carbonium bezel. A large blue PVD-coated X on the front and bright orange and white elements gave the model its distinctive look. The in-house UN-372 automatic movement, a modified version of the manually wound UN-371 used in Skeleton X models, now with an X-shaped oscillating weight, solidified the brand's new offer.?Last year, Ulysse Nardin presented a new reference in the Diver X Skeleton line-up, in black with yellow accents, with a titanium case and black carbonium bezel. The watch, christened by the brand Diver X Skeleton Black, featured the same design and technical characteristics as the previous model. Come the year 2023, and UN reveals Diver X Skeleton White, I dare say, the most attractive of them all. Ad - Scroll to cont
Hermes Arceau Brown Dial for Qatar Watch Club (Price)
Clubs of enthusiasts, whatever the passion people are sharing, have long existed and their influence is growing. More and more local initiatives are created, such as RedBar or, for today’s matters, the Qatar Watch Club. With the idea to generate passion and increase horological knowledge among their members, as well as offering watches made specifically for them, QWC is now presenting a new dedicated watch. Following a Tudor Pelagos and a Ulysse Nardin Freak X, it is time for something dressier, with the Hermes Arceau for “Qatar Watch Club.”This special edition for Qatari watch aficionados is based on one of the most classic designs of French brand Hermes, the Arceau – a watch with strong equestrian roots – designed in 1978 by Henri d’Origny. As with many creations by Hermes, the shape is unusual yet full of elegance. The watch for the QWC is based on the larger edition, the so-called TGM (tres grand modele), with a 40mm stainless steel case and the
