Putting the company and design to a whole new pedestal, Longines Record 38.5mm L28205722 is smashing design, and creative bars left and right. The presence of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, with several layers of anti-reflective coating on the underside just puts it at another level when it comes to customer care, as it is easier for the wearer to be carefree when it comes to certain aspects of an expensive wristwatch. With triple safety folding clasp as well as a push-piece opening mechanism, the self-winding automatic timepiece has a power reserve of approximately sixty-four hours.

Introducing The New Black/Gold Audemars Piguet ROO Chronograph
It’s hard to believe, but the Royal Oak Offshore is coming up for its 30th birthday this year. Presented by Audemars Piguet in 1993 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Royal Oak in a bolder, more virile format, the Royal Oak Offshore, aka The Beast, made an indelible impression on the crowds at Baselworld. Its muscular 42mm case bristling with textures and bold combinations of materials included an exposed black rubber gasket between the case and the bezel. The latest facelift took place in 2021, resulting in a more ergonomic 43mm case, interchangeable straps and the incorporation of the brand’s latest integrated flyback chronograph movement, calibre 4401. Dressed in a handsome John Player Special livery, this 43mm Royal Oak Offshore ref. 26420CE?comes in a black ceramic case with striking 18k yellow gold accents.Two-Tone CaseComplying with the design upgrades of 2021, the 43mm black ceramic case features the redesigned pushers nestled inside matte yellow gold struct
Introducing the Chopard Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 Jacky Ickx Edition (including live photos & price) - Monochrome-Watches
And the winner is Porsche. Well, if we focus on cars engaged at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, there's no question anymore. Porsche is the clear winner of the 2015 edition of the legendary race, with their cars finishing 1st?and 2nd positions, in front of Audi Sport. However, in the race of watches celebrating a partnership with one of the Le Mans teams, we have a new competitor, just after the TAG Heuer Nismo and the Oris Audi Sport?– and the new?Chopard Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 Jacky Ickx Edition has quite some arguments to be the first to cross?the line. While the watches celebrating the partnerships with 24 Hours of Le Mans teams Audi Sport and Nismo/Nissan – meaning a TAG Heuer and an Oris – are pleasant?but technically simple chronographs (both reasonably priced and featuring classical Sellita movements, clones of a Valjoux 7750), its seems that Porsche requirements in terms of technical specs are drastic, as the watch proposed by Chopard plays on another level. Hands-On - Oris x Momotaro Jeans Divers Sixty-Five (Specs & Price)
Introduced already five years ago just ahead of Baselworld, the Divers Sixty-Five has quickly become one of the most emblematic watches of Oris, existing in countless permanent, special or limited editions, in multiple materials and in several sizes. Surprisingly, Oris managed to make it consistent and most of the editions proved successful – remember the Bi-Co or the silver dial? The latest in the series is also one of the boldest and most fashion-oriented… Something that could have sounded scary but the result of this collaboration with cult Japanese jean maker, named the Oris x Momotaro Jeans Divers Sixty-Five, was quite cool indeed. And we have it live with us today.Based on the acclaimed ’65The story behind the Divers Sixty-Five is quite interesting. One of the members of the Oris team – a Dutch fellow who’s also a true watch enthusiast – was the owner of a small, quite unknown dive watch from the mid-1960s, a watch with a glossy black domed dia
Rado Captain Cook Bronze Burgundy (Hands-on, Price)
Since 2017, Rado has found a spot in the market for cool, vintage-oriented dive watches with its successful Captain Cook model. Largely associated with the use of high-tech ceramics, Rado also benefits from a rich history, and several emblematic watches from the past have been reintroduced. Inspired by a 1962 piece with a distinctive case/bezel design, the Captain Cook has been released in multiple iterations, such as compact 37mm limited editions and, more recently, some enlarged yet very appealing bronze versions. In addition to the green, grey/brown and blue models, today Rado launches a new and striking version: the Captain Cook Bronze Burgundy.A vintage example of the Rado Captain Cook – photo: Michael Stockton, Fratello WatchesAs explained in this article on the previous Captain Cook Bronze watches, this watch is inspired by a glorious and quite conspicuous watch produced by the brand during the golden age of the dive watch. This watch was released in 1962 with a 37mm case
First Look: The Albishorn Type 10, an Imaginary Ancestor to the Type 20
What if…? This simple statement could easily summarize what Albishorn‘s founder Sebastien Chaulmontet wants to achieve with the brand, or “Imaginary Vintage” watches as he likes to call it. Things started with the appealing Maxigraph, or what a modern regatta chronograph would have looked like in the 1930s. Now, Albishorn takes flight, and Chaulmontet creates another vintage watch that never existed. It’s named the Type 10 Chronograph, and it’s meant to be the predecessor of the emblematic Type 20 chronograph, hypothetically crafted in 1948, as the missing link between the dashboard instruments and the famous flyback military/pilot wrist chronograph. A bold idea, one that will surely provoke discussions, but also a demonstration of creativity.?What’s important to know about Sebastien Chaulmontet, the man behind this recently created brand Albishorn, is that he has quite a track record. Chaulmontet has been the Head of Innovation and Marketing a
