Luxury Watches |
A bold dial with a leather strap perfectly defines how anyone would imagine a classic men's watch. With this timepiece, Longines has recreated the classic look, but with a unique touch of style, that is the benchmark of design that the brand has promised to its users. The white and black face of this watch is bold and iconic, adding great class to the design, along with better legibility owing to the contrasting colors. The brown leather strap of this timepiece is added to ensure that your wrist is wrapped not only in a statement of style and class but also a degree of comfort that would allow longer wear.

Interview - Nirupesh Joshi of Bangalore Watch Company on Watchmaking in India
Nirupesh Joshi and his wife Mercy Amalraj founded Bangalore Watch Company in 2018 with the goal of representing 21st-century India with exciting and high-quality watch collections. Neither worked in the watchmaking field prior to this, as both had successful tech and consulting careers. Nirupesh is an aviation and watch enthusiast and grew frustrated by his home country's lack of desirable watch brands. His latest collection, the MACH 1, celebrates the Indian Air Force MiG 21 Type 77 with multiple design elements and perfectly encapsulates the brand's ethos. The limited MACH 1X (21 pieces) even has a dial comprised of aluminium alloy from a MiG 21.?I recently talked with Nirupesh about India's watchmaking history, his thoughts about in-house production, the inclusion of Swiss movements in current and future collections, and much more. This burgeoning brand from Bangalore is certainly one to watch.?Nirupesh Joshi and his wife Mercy Amalraj, founders of Bangalore Watch CompanyErik Slaven

Ferdinand Berthoud strips down its spectacular Chronometre FB1. After the recently introduced platinum edition, it's now the movement that evolves. Indeed, sapphire bridges now offer an unimpeded view on its killer inner workings, and this mechanical beauty is now housed in a titanium case (with 2 different dials available). Meet the Ferdinand Berthoud Chronometre FB1.4, available in two different versions, which shows quite some evolutions compared to the previous models of the brand. After a long incubation period, Chopard's Karl Frederich Scheufele revived Berthoud, one of the greatest horologists of all times, with the unveiling of the FB1 chronometer, a modern, personal take on this unique heritage (read our previous reviews about the FB1.1/2 and FB1.3). A tribute to chronometry, this elaborate creation features several mechanisms to optimize precision. It received numerous industry accolades, including being awarded the Aiguille d'Or at GPHG 2016 (the Oscars of Watchmaking). But t
