The Petrolhead Corner - The Automobili Pininfarina Battista
We return to the shores of Lake Como once again, but not to look at some of the world's best vintage cars, but a futuristic EV hypercar instead. The Automobili Pininfarina Battista has been in the works for a couple of years and has now reached production-ready stages. One of the very first completed client-spec cars took top honours in the Concept Cars & Prototypes class during the Concorso. Reason enough for us to take a closer look as well in this latest instalment of The Petrolhead Corner.First things first; this doesn't come from the Carrozzeria Pininfarina design studio famous for sketching some of the most gorgeous Ferrari’s from the 1950s to the early 2010s. This comes from Automobili Pininfarina, a separate entity under the Mahindra Group which focuses on building EV hypercars. There are ties between the two though, as the Mahindra Group acquired the design studio in 2015 and set out to launch Automobili Pininfarina in 2018. Consider it a little bit like an architect

That was back in 2014, and there were two limited edition of 250 pieces each for both Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton. It was the older Ingenieur Chronograph version which was discontinued when the current version was introduced early 2016. The new limited edition to honour N

Buying Guide - 6 watches showing downsizing can be a good thing.
Downsizing is a word that comes with two faces. On one end you might feel corners are cut, you get less bang for your buck, and the experience is less fun. A good example is cars, where downsizing usually means less power, less performance and often less joy to drive. On the other end, specifically in watches, you might experience the exact opposite! It might even be the reason a watch you previously didn’t even consider due to its size, might end up in your collection after all! Examples, where the downsizing trend in watchmaking works extremely well, are the recent Nomos Club Sport Neomatik 37 and the Aquastar Deepstar 39. As ever, it’s all about proportions, comfort, visual appeal and above all; enjoyment! These six watches prove that downsizing in watchmaking can certainly equate to less being more!Hamilton Khaki Field MurphEarlier this week Hamilton release a watch that a lot of enthusiasts of both the original watch and movie have long been waiting for, a smaller vers
