There aren't any bold pops of color in the Zurich 801 Nomos watch, but that doesn't mean it won't be able to offer you style and elegance the instant you wear it. This watch features a Stainless steel case with a (sturdy) black leather strap. It boasts a Galvanized, white silver-plated dial with silver-tone hands and index hour markers. Even with a transparent cast back, this watch is all about perfect simplicity. The uniform color palette makes this accessory perfect for a variety of gatherings.

Hands-On: Impressions about the Omega Speedmaster Pilot Flight Qualified
About a month ago, out of the blue, Omega released a new, rather polarizing and unique-looking version of its emblematic chronograph, the Speedmaster Pilot Flight Qualified.?Well, it wasn’t really out of the blue, but we’ll come back on that in a few. Colourful, tool-oriented and with a dial full of references to the world of aviation, it is a watch with a completely different style from what we’ve come to expect from the streamlined Moonwatch – it’s also very different technically. We had the chance to get our hands on one of these Speedmaster Pilot watches and I’m going to share some of my impressions… Is it oddly cool or just odd? Let’s find out.BackgroundThe Speedmaster started life in 1957 as a racing chronograph to measure average speeds and also introduced the concept of the external bezel with a? tachymeter scale, hence its name, to the watchmaking world. However, it quickly changed vocation during the 1960s to become the watch of
Collector's Series - @NYCWATCHGUY And His Urwerk UR-220 Falcon
A collector active on Instagram, @NYCWATCHGUY lives in the Greatest City in the World (his words), New York, and works as a venture capitalist but at heart, he is a watch meme maker. His many talents inspired him to a hobby we can all relate to; collecting watches. His journey started out traditionally but led him to more out there' watches. His Urwerk UR-220 Falcon is not the first watch of the brand to be featured in the Collector's Series, but clearly is one of the most impressive.Frank Geelen, MONOCHROME – How did you find out about Urwerk? Ad - Scroll to continue with article @NYCWATCHGUY – I definitely came across Urwerk casually on watch blogs in the early days of my watch collecting journey (around 2012). I always thought they were cool, but as someone who just owned a starter Zenith at the time (and the state of my bank account), making the
Omega expands the Speedmaster 38mm collection with sparkling diamond-set versions - Monochrome Watches
The Speedmaster 38mm made its debut in 2017. Among the most popular iterations of this smaller Speedmaster is the Cappuccino in 18K Sedna? Gold, with horizontal brown oval subdials and vertical oval date window at 6 o'clock. This year, Omega expands the collection with 8 new sparkling versions set with diamonds and a choice of 2 dial colours. The luxurious setting of these new iterations includes a paved bezel (~1.5 carats), diamond-ringed subdials and a diamond-set crown. Eight new iterations of the Omega Speedmaster 38mm introduce a more luxurious and more glamourous twist to the model, slightly moving away from its sporty character by omitting the tachymeter bezel in favor of much larger stones. Among these, two versions come in 18K Sedna Gold featuring a chocolate brown PVD dial with horizontal silvery subdials, while another two are crafted in 18K Moonshine Gold, boasting a green PVD dial with similar subdials. Additionally, four new steel versions ar
Hands-on with the Richard Mille RM 022 Aerodyne Dual Time Zone - Live photos & price - Monochrome-Watches
What's so special about a Richard Mille watch? We all know about the exclusivity (less than 3,000 pieces per year), the impeccable quality and the celebrity ambassadors. But there are many more features that added up to the success of this highly exclusive watch brand: exclusive materials, astonishing finishing, distinctive complications, innovations and a unique feeling that creates a desirable object. In order to understand what Richard Mille is all about, we've visited the famous Parisian shop Chronopassion to discuss the brand, their watches and to get hands-on with one of the most complicated timepiece in the collection, the Richard Mille RM 022 Aerodyne, featuring a tourbillon, a dual time indicator and…. carbon?nano-fibers.?No doubt about it, the Richard Mille RM 022 Aerodyne is an extraordinary timepiece. We could have stopped here, showed you pictures and it would have been enough to tickle your love for watches. But here we're going to try to explain you why a Richard M
Abercrombie & Fitch 1950s Tri-Compax Chronograph / The Vintage Corner
Abercrombie & Fitch Co. was not originally the urban teen clothing brand we know today Named after its founder David T Abercrombie, it was bought and incorporated in 1904 to become Abercrombie & Fitch. It was essentially an early luxury brand focusing on outdoorsy types, offering very high-quality items, shotguns, fishing rods, canoes, camping equipment, objects made for the well-heeled' traveller. Famous names like Hemingway, Gable, Porter, Hepburn and Roosevelt – who was a big fan of the outdoors and a conservationist himself – patronized the store and brand. And in addition to that, it had some watches bearing its name. Quite cool ones to be honest.Ava Gardner, Clark Gable and Grace Kelly in “Mogambo”, by John Ford, 1953The store offered a mail order service and I have a 1950's Christmas Catalogue here that displays such useful items as the Swiss Military Knife, Ray-Ban Glasses and in this particular offering, a range of Gallet watches.
