Audemars Piguet To Exceed CHF 1 Billion Revenue in 2018 and to Fully Integrate its Retail Network - Monochrome Watches
In an interview to Reuters, CEO Francois-Henry Bennahmias declared that Audemars Piguet will deliver double-digit growth in 2018 and that the brand's turnover will exceed one billion Swiss francs this year. To further boost sales, Audemars Piguet plans to cut-out third-party multi-brand retailers to arrive at a totally integrated retail network within three to five years. The integration of distribution in the watch industry started years ago with the creations of subsidiaries and with the wish to sell more and more in own-name stores. Audemars Piguet aims at pushing this strategy one step further, with a fully integrated network (directly operated or with local partners). Bennhamias added that Audemars Piguet could consider acquiring retailers too. Bringing distribution in-house allows increasing sales and consolidating margins with directly operated stores. It is also the opportunity to get full control of operations at a retail level and to leverage the complementarity of the differe
The return of the Eberhard Scafograf 300 - overview of an Iconic dive watch - Monochrome Watches
Eberhard occupies a great chapter in the history of the Swiss watch industry. However, it belongs to a segment rather obscure and less known from a wider audience. A segment which contains companies likes Venus, Martel, Leonidas, Lemania, Minerva, Excelsior Park, Gallet, Nivada, to name a few but a few that were right from the start instrumental for producing calibres and watches that have propelled, as a whole, the Swiss watch industry unequivocally to its current leading position. So it is quite excited that we're about to explain the return of the Eberhard Scafograf 300, one of the less known but still iconic dive watch.History and Milestones of the Eberhard ScafografFounded in 1887 by Georges Eberhard, in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Eberhard & Co started to produce watches and quickly, it was right at the very edge of creativity. In 1935, innovation centred on the double pulsating chronograph, offering the stop and start functions without having to reset to zero; in 1938, the launch of
Hands-on - Chopard L.U.C Time Traveler One Black (Specs & Price)
Chopard introduced the L.U.C Time Traveler One in 2016. Marking the first world timer to join the L.U.C collection, the Time Traveler One shows the time in all 24 time zones simultaneously and is operated by an internal 24-hour ring. The standout feature of Chopard's globetrotter's watch is the Super Compressor-style case with two crowns and an internal rotating bezel, a case largely associated with instrument dive watches. For 2021, Chopard revisits its popular Time Traveler One in monochrome with a matte ceramised titanium case in a limited run of 250 pieces.World Time at a glanceWith current travel restrictions in place, global travel might be a distant dream for most of us. However, world time watches are also useful for conducting business around the world and making sure you don't wake up your business partner in Taipei in the wee hours of the morning.
