VIDEO - The Vacheron Constantin Overseas - Part 1, the Origins, the 222 and the Evolution of an Icon
In 1977, Vacheron Constantin, the oldest watch manufacturer in continuous operation, celebrated its 222nd anniversary. For this reason, the brand?decided to create a special watch, right in the middle of what was known as the “quartz crisis”. Swiss brands needed to reinvent themselves, making necessary and often, disruptive changes. This is when the Vacheron Constantin 222, a true luxury sports watch,?was born – a watch that would later become an icon under the name Overseas. Introducing: Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept Midnight Blue Edition
Presented in 2018, the Altiplano Ultimate Concept?earned the record for the thinnest watch in the world with its incredibly thin 2mm profile, making it Piaget’s (a brand known for its mastery of ultra-thin) slenderest mechanical watch ever. It is fashioned in an ultra-resistant cobalt alloy to ensure sufficient rigidity and its development resulted in the filing of no fewer than five patents. Piaget's remarkable Altiplano Ultimate Concept, once the thinnest mechanical watch in the world, made headlines when it was

Founded in 2004 by couple Maria and Richard Habring, Habring2 is one of the very few watchmakers to operate in Austria and, over the years, it has managed to manufacture highly appealing hand-made, in-house developed watches. The latest in line is an elegant, slightly retro-styled watch that takes the concept of Felix one step further. Meet the Habring2 Oskar with moon phase display and with or without pointer date.?The new Oskar is largely based on the Felix model, a watch of high importance in the brand’s portfolio, as it heralded the era of Habring2’s own manufactory movements. For the first 10 years of its existence, the brand relied on ETA ebauches, heavily modified to meet the brand’s requirements in terms of complications. In 2014, with Felix, Habring2
