First Look: The new Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Titanium & Bronze Gold No-Date (incl. video)
It was only two weeks ago that Omega finally released the long-awaited watch spotted on the wrist of Daniel Craig during the Paris 2024 Olympics, the no-date edition of the emblematic Seamaster Diver 300M. While keeping the technical formula of the classic date Seamaster Diver 300M alive, these new editions – there were two, the classic black dial/bezel and a silver steel/titanium edition – somehow mixed elements of the neo-vintage SMP300 with features found on several Bond-themed watches – the NTTD and the 60 Years of Bond – which was all explained in our in-depth review. But this was not the end of the story, as Omega still had a surprise for the fans. Earlier this year Formula One driver Romain Grosjean was added to Richard Mille’s stable of top sporters, or official partner’s as they prefer to call them. Grosjean will be wearing, and thus testing, the?new RM 011 Lotus F1 Team-Romain Grosjean?automatic flyback chronograph movement in the colors of the British racing team. The case is made of NTPT carbon, a new, light and ultra strong?material exclusive to Richard Mille. We had a closer look the case and its production.?During the practice laps, qualification laps and the race, Romain Grosjean?will wear?his watch outside his overalls! Hands-On - Czapek Quai des Bergues Order of Malta Special Edition (with Video)
If you are a regular reader of MONOCHROME, you will be familiar with the independent watchmaker Czapek. A name with a lot of history (Fran?ois Czapek was a Geneva-based Polish watchmaker whose 6-year partnership with Antoni Patek gave birth to remarkable watches before the latter founded Patek Philippe with Adrien Philippe), the brand was revived in 2015 with the launch of the Quai des Bergues.
