Luxury Watches |
This timepiece is from Seamaster series of Omega. It's also known as The 1957 Trilogy Watch by Omega. It comes in a stainless steel case of diameter 39mm. Black dial with luminous silver-tone hands and index hour markers is the real beauty of this timepiece. Arabic numerals are there to mark the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions. Minute markers are carved around the outer rim. Powered by Omega caliber 8806 automatic movement with a 55-hour power reserve, this has proved to be the choice of many!

Breaking: The IWC Portugieser Eternal Calendar Wins the GPHG 2024
The 2024 edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve has just unveiled the grand winner of this year’s awards ceremony! Often regarded as the Oscars of Watchmaking, the GPHG stands for a celebration of all things surrounding mechanical watchmaking. A specially selected jury, which included our founder and editor-in-chief Frank Geelen, has narrowed down all the entries into multiple categories with six watches each. Out of all the entries, only one has been selected as the grand winner, receiving the coveted “Aiguille d’Or” trophy for Best of Show. In addition to that, each category winner also received an award. Last year, the stunningly complex Audemars Piguet Code 11.59 Ultra-Complication Universelle, the most complicated wristwatch ever created by the brand, took the golden hand back home. This year, the jury of the GPHG 2024 rewarded astronomical precision with the IWC Portugieser Eternal Calendar, the brand’s first secular calendar. And we
First Look: The Piaget Polo 79, Back to its Original Design and Opulent Gold Attire
When it was relaunched with a modernized and sleeker design in 2016, the Piaget Polo adopted the design cues of luxury sports watches, slightly changing the face of the collection to become a cushion-shaped watch. However, this isn't how the model started its life. This year, Piaget celebrates its 150th anniversary, and to whet our appetite, the brand brings back the unmistakable, opulent, equestrian chic of the original Piaget Polo. An integrated design with its trademark gadroons, it returns in late- 1970s full-gold attire. But if the inspiration is classic, this new Polo has been contemporarily reimagined, starting with its automatic ultra-thin movement. Here's the new Piaget Polo 79.Background“We really had to answer to this particular demand of our customers who are used to getting just dress watches,” explained Yves Piaget at the time. “But now our customers like to do more and more sports. That's part of the evolution of our lives today. They want to be exquisi
Introducing: The IWC Portugieser Chronograph Year of the Dragon
With watch brands across the board riding the Chinese New Year wave, there are no prizes for guessing which of the twelve animals represented in the Chinese Zodiac will be in the limelight this year. Admittedly one of the more attractive beasts to depict on a watch, the dragon replaces the rabbit of 2023 and will reign supreme until he is replaced by the snake in 2025. One month ahead of the Lunar New Year, IWC releases a limited edition of its Portugieser Chronograph. Flaunting a rich burgundy-coloured dial – associated with good luck, celebrations and prosperity in Asia – the brand has adopted the same prudent approach as last year’s celebratory Chinese New Year Portugieser model and hidden the mascot from prying eyes.Last year, which starred the Year of the Rabbit, IWC produced a special version of its Portugieser Automatic time-only model with a burgundy dial with gold-plated appliques and a rabbit engraved on the rotor. This year, the more complicated Portugieser

However, don’t be fooled by the youngness of the brand, as less than 2 years after their first iteration, a new watch is coming – and we have it for you here, quite exclusively.?Here is the Ophion OPH 786. It’s cool, it’s superbly done, the content is simply impressive for the price, there’s a new movement… Everything to fall in love.Throwback to Ophion’s storyWhat is Ophion? Well, it is?part of these multiple watch brands that create these days. However, no Kickstarter here, no Miyota movement, no crazy design. Instead, there’s a passion. When he started the brand, Miguel had a simple idea: bringing a bit of the haute horlogerie taste in an affordable, yet elegant watch, with nice execution and a different movement (no ETA, no Sei
IWC Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar and Mark XVII - Limited Special Edition "Le Petit Prince" - Monochrome Watches
Watches and Wonders is more or less the Asian version of the SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, which takes place in Geneva every year). All exhibiting watch brands see this as an important fair, and they have been introducing new timepieces like it’s Christmas. IWC has just introduced two new pilot’s watches, both limited special editions to celebrate the 70th birthday of the book “The Little Prince”. Just look at the little prince on the moon phase indication of the Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar “Le Petit Prince”. This is so cool!I don’t know if you ever read the book Le Petit Prince, or translated The Little Prince – if you haven’t, please do yourself a favor and read it – but it was not only a great book to read, it was also food for thought. Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s book has become a classic and is read all over the world, in many languages. Antione de Saint-Exupery was not only a writer, but also a
