With Master Chronometer calibre 8900 ticking away, the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra is a sailor's dress watch that looks just as good as it works. The watch comes in a big 41 mm case, while the inside is set with a silver dial that's decorated with a stick/dot-styled index. Including the date display at the 6 o'clock mark simply just completed the image.

Introducing: The Wildly Reflective Zenith Defy Extreme Mirror
Camouflage dials have been a big hit in the past couple of years, and we've covered several combat-ready models. Zenith pushes the camouflage concept to the extreme, giving its Defy Extreme a radical makeover with a reflective mirrored surface. Undoubtedly the boldest take on its high-performance 1/100th-of-a-second chronograph, the latest manifestation blends into its surroundings thanks to its distortion-free mirror-polished case, dial and bracelet.Zenith's Defy Extreme collection, released in 2021, is a high-testosterone brother of the Defy family, a lab rat of sorts to test out new materials on its powerful, angular case. Extreme in all senses, right down to the dual regulating organ, the regulator for the timekeeping beats at 5Hz while the second one for the chronograph whizzes at 50Hz to capture 1/100th-of-a-second chronograph readings. Hands-on: The Hypnotic Kudoke Infinity
German watchmaker Stefan Kudoke fell in love with watchmaking as a young man and cut his teeth in the complications and prototypes department of Glashutte Original, followed by stints in the New York service departments of Breguet, Blancpain and Omega. Since branching out as an independent watchmaker on the outskirts of Dresden with his brand Kudoke, the repertoire reflects Stefan’s fascination with handmade skeletonised, richly decorated movements gathered in the KUNSTwerk collection and the more sober, understated models of the HANDwerk family, spearheaded by the Kudoke 1. The Kudoke Infinity we are looking at today breaks rank with earlier editions and offers just the hours and minutes but features a lovely sparkling blue aventurine dial. ?The Saxon-English ConnectionKeen to develop his own calibre, Stefan turned to the design of historical English pocket watch movements with their symmetrical style and a central balance cock. Saxony, the cradle of refined German watchmaking,
All the Generations of the Patek Philippe 5270 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph explained, including the 2015 third generation - Review, specs & price - Monochrome-Watches
The Perpetual Calendar Chronograph is the best interpretation of what defines a Patek Philippe. Like knows how to manufacture divers, Patek has mastered the Chrono with QP for ages and is, without any debate, the best at it. For 2015, Patek brings the third generation of the Ref. 5270,?with a new combination of a white dial and a rose gold case – plus the?correction of one of the main faults, the ‘chin’.Background – the 2011?and the 2013 generations of the?Patek Philippe Ref. 5270 explainedWithout going back into the full history of the?Perpetual Calendar Chronographs by Patek Philippe (that can be found here), let us give you some details about this specific referenc
Introducing The Green Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Glassbox
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic Carrera chronograph last year, TAG Heuer unveiled the Carrera Glassbox and a 42mm Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon, a timepiece equally characterised by seamlessly integrated domed sapphire crystal. Inspired by the domed hesalite crystals found on early Carrera models, this watch with refined ergonomics presented a distinct and clean aesthetic. Initially offered with a striking blue dial featuring silver-coloured elements, polished sub-dial surrounds, and an orange lacquered central chronograph seconds hand, this technical Carrera exuded the essence of a racing chronograph poised for action. In a nod to contemporary trends, TAG Heuer has expanded its offering of teal green-coloured models, already present in the Carrera Chronograph series, to include the new Tourbillon model, creating what is described as “a sophisticated statement piece.”The 42mm case of the Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon with a thickness of 14.33 mm
The Petrolhead Corner - An Ode to the McLaren F1, the Ultimate Modern Supercar
This will create a debate, no doubt about that… Every “petrolhead” will have his own opinion to the question: “What is the ultimate modern supercar?” There are multiple names that could be quoted here, such as the Ferrari F40, the Countach, the Veyron and many more of them that have a special place in the heart of car aficionados. Still, there’s one car that can, objectively, be placed on top of the list. An over-engineered machine, designed by a genius/nerd (choose the most suitable) named Gordon Murray, a car that was meant to be on bedroom walls, a rare, fast car, with true motorsport DNA… The all-mighty, soon-to-be-legendary (well, it is already) and fascinating McLaren F1.Back in the early 1980s, you had a choice of three posters to tape on your bedroom wall: Jennifer Beals in Flashdance, the outrageous Ferrari Testarossa or the even more outrageous Lamborghini Countach. Fat tyres, wide read-ends, useless but oh-so-cool wings… And th
