The Omega Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial is a timepiece for the sailors. Or maybe Aquaman due to its stylish tropical dial, vintage index, and is water resistant up to 300 meters. Definitely a thing of beauty for people who love the aquatic and still appreciates the exquisite art of watchmaking.

The Auction Hammer: 3 Rare A. Lange & Sohne Watches Including an Extremely Rare Lange 1 in Stainless Steel - Monochrome Watches
A. Lange & Sohne’s history can be divided into two, or actually three, eras: one before World War II, one after Germany’s reunification, and the period in between (1945 – 1990), although the latter is actually not that interesting. On 15 November, German auction house Dr. Crott Auctions will be offering a vast number of A. Lange & Sohne watches from the two interesting periods of the brand’s history, including a Tourbillon Pour le Merite in platinum, an extremely rare stainless steel Lange 1, and a rare example of the Jubilee Langematik.?Besides these (extremely rare) contemporary pieces, there are dozens of late 1800’s and early 1900’s pocket watches from A. Lange & Sohne. Many of them offered with original box and papers, which makes them perfect investment pieces, besides that fact that they are very beautiful. At the auction you’ll also see two very rare vintage Panerai watches, a bunch of watches, including a black-dial Paul
Five Stylish and Practical Luxury Sports Chronograph Watches - Monochrome Watches
Few segments in the watch industry are as popular and heavily contested as the luxury sports watch. The dive watch may come closest, but we can all agree that the luxury sports watch has boomed in recent years. Even independent watchmakers like H. Moser & Cie and Czapek have jumped on the bandwagon with (it must be said) very cool collections. Simultaneously, there’s also a move towards added practicality within a luxury sports watch, for instance, with a GMT or Calendar complication or even a Chronograph. Looking at the latter, we’ve compiled a list of five luxury sports watches, all fitted with a chronograph movement.A. Lange & Sohne Odysseus ChronographWe’re kicking things off with the top-end A. Lange & Sohne Odysseus Chronograph. This was surprisingly the only launch by the German manufacturer for Watches & Wonders this year, but given its complexity, that’s quite understandable. This is not a typical chronograph, as the pushers on the right
Vacheron Constantin FiftySix Complete Calendar - Review (Specs & Price)
When Vacheron Constantin announced the introduction of a new collection, the?FiftySix, just ahead of the SIHH 2018, we were (in all honesty) rather sceptical. I can recall discussions with Frank about the design, the way the brand communicated the model, the “entry-level” approach or the millennial?target. But as they say, first impressions can be wrong… So we decided to give this?Vacheron Constantin FiftySix a second chance, but this time by wearing it. And for that, we chose the most complex (and most appealing) version, the?Complete Calendar. Why were we sceptical about the VC?FiftySix?Being journalists – or at least, people who run a magazine – we usually receive visuals and press releases about new models in advance. In this way, we have time to prepare articles so you can enjoy reading about novelties right when they are officially launched. This was the case with the Vacheron Constantin FiftySix, which we discovered a few days before the SIHH 2018. Y
2018 Patek Philippe Twenty-4 Automatic 7300 (Specs & Price)
Since its release in 1999, the Twenty-4 has been Patek Philippe’s entry-level model (all genders) and certainly its best-selling women’s collection. Shaped like a bracelet, with a rectangular case seamlessly integrated into a metallic bracelet, it was – unfortunately – powered by a quartz movement (an in-house quartz movement for sure, but still battery-powered). A watch, so to speak, that never really made it as a true Patek in our books. Yet, there’s a new version of the?Patek Philippe Twenty-4. It is round, it is more casual and sportier and it is powered by an automatic movement. The Patek Philippe Twenty-4 as we knew it until today – rectangular, small, bracelet-like and battery-powered. Here is the steel version, ref. 4910-10A, the entry-level model at EUR 11,000 (also the most affordable Patek). There is no doubt that the Patek Philippe Twenty-4 Steel/Quartz has been a commercial success for the Geneva-based brand. It certainly is the MaisonR
Arnold and Son Constant Force Tourbillon - Review with technical explanations (live photos, specs & price) - Monochrome Watches
What you’ll see in this review is not “just” a watch, it’s much more, it’s a chronometry lesson that can be worn on the wrist. For a few years now,?we’ve?seen ultra-complicated watches with stunning displays, crazy complications and a stupendous amount of finishing. However, we do have to remember that first and most important goal of a watch is to display the time with the highest precision possible. Indeed, before being able to calculate a leap year, a perpetual calendar has to be precise in timekeeping. This path for accuracy is sometimes a bit forgotten, however?Arnold and Son bring us a “back-to-basic” watch, which the single?and only?goal is to display the time (and nothing else) in the most precise (and stunning) way. Don’t expect any displayed complications but expect this watch to be extremely complicated. Hands-on Review of the?Arnold and Son Constant Force Tourbillon. In a recent article, we explained the importance of chr
