ORIS Big Crown pointer date is another outstanding piece that combines vintage style with modern versatility. The blue dial present on this timepiece goes exceptionally well with the light brown leather strap. It comes with automatic winding pointer date and hours, minutes, and even seconds. The 38-hour power reserve on this watch and water-resistant and scratch-proof nature make it a great model to buy.

Our favourite Audemars Piguet Royal Oaks that you can buy today - waiting lists permitting... - Monochrome Watches
The word iconic is one of the most overused and abused words in the watch industry, however, I bet everyone agrees that the Royal Oak IS a true design icon. A watch that defined the modern luxury sports watch. In 1972, Audemars Piguet and Gerald Genta created an archetype; match a sporty but clearly expensively crafted steel watch with an integrated steel bracelet and an automatic, ultra-thin movement. Et voil¨¤, there’s the luxury sports watch, an archetype that has never seemed more relevant than today, as demand for such watches is higher, much higher, than availability.?Since this first luxury sports watch was launched in 1972, most major luxury brands have designed watches in the same genre, but the one-and-only Royal Oak remains inimitable! Here are some of the best Royal Oaks you can get in 2019. Let’s rephrase that; here are some the best Royal Oaks listed in the AP collections but be prepared for some of these models to come with a waiting list that stretches into t
Richemont Group 2020 Results Stable, Yet Affected by Coronavirus
In a statement released this morning, luxury group Richemont – the owner of multiple high-end watch brands, such as IWC, Lange, JLC or Cartier – has announced its results for the year ended 31 March 2020. On a yearly basis, the group recorded revenues of EUR 14, 238 million, up 2% at actual exchange rates and stable at constant exchange rate compared to the prior year. However, this doesn't reflect the current situation in the market.Sales over the nine-month period from April to December 2019 had increased by 8% at actual exchange rates and by 5% at constant exchange rates, before the Coronavirus pandemic put downward pressure on the global economy. As expected, over the 4th quarter, operations were strongly affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Sales over this period declined by 18% at actual exchange rates, with sales in Asia Pacific down by 36%, including Hong Kong SAR and China down by 67%. Sales in Europe decreased by 9% while they rose by 9% in the Americas, only hit by t
Sinn x The Rake and Revolution 155 Bundeswehr Dark Star - Introducing (Specs & Price)
It has become a recurring thing for magazines Revolution and The Rake to offer limited edition watches to their readers. Some of them, such as the Bell & Ross Bellytanker or the Chopard Salmon Dial, were surprisingly pleasant. Today’s collab watch goes one step further and the result is the epitome of cool. Indeed, Revolution and The Rake have teamed up with German watchmaker Sinn to present a re-edition of the legendary Bundeswehr 1550 SG, issued in a limited run of 150 pieces. Meet the Sinn 155 Bundeswehr Dark Star. The Rake’s and Revolution’s latest collaborative project was a very nice, 36mm bronze cased IWC pilot’s watch. Following this military/vintagey/pilot theme, the two magazines owned by our friend Wei Koh are presenting another flight instrument, this time in collaboration with Sinn. It is toolish, it is vintage-inspired and it is cool, simply because it is a re-edition of the famed Bundeswehr 1550 SG watch. And that’s enough to tickle our i
Rewind - Video, Inside the Omega Master Chronometer METAS Lab
This was three years ago already but what a special day… Back then, Omega had announced its Master Chronometer certification. Created in collaboration with independent Federal Institute of Metrology METAS, the Master Chronometer certification was one of the most advanced and stringent certification processes in watchmaking. Yet, no one had ever been allowed to bring a camera inside the laboratory, until we did, in March 2017. And because of that, we decided to produce one of our most in-depth videos, a proper 24-minute documentary where you’ll be able to discover exactly how Omega has managed to become one of the leaders in precision and anti-magnetism.?While some brands focus on complexity and traditional watchmaking – compiling as many complications as possible into a single movement – Omega chose a different path, the pursuit of the best possible movement for daily use, a movement that will perform to the same high level in every situation, in every environme
Hands-On - 2021 Zenith Chronomaster Original 38mm (Live Pics & Price)
For long, the name Chronomaster has been associated at Zenith with an El Primero-powered (what else…) classic chronograph, without an external bezel, often with tri-colour sub-dials and available either in 42mm or in an even more desirable, historically relevant 38mm diameter, inspired by the legendary A386 model of 1969. This very watch was, however, discontinued when the attractive Chronomaster Sport was introduced earlier this year. But this slightly larger and more modern take on the El Primero wasn’t meant to be a replacement. Indeed, the classic 38mm, bezel-less Chronomaster is back, with more modern mechanics and a powerful vintage-inspired design. Here is the Zenith Chronomaster Original, the revamped 38mm El Primero and the successor to the A386 watch.?Inspired by the A386The name “A386” will certainly resonate in the mind of vintage watch lovers as one of the most emblematic models ever to be produced by the Le Locle-based manufacture. It is the most i
