A sophisticated skeletonized hand-wound caliber is everything. Luminor Due Manual Winding watch in ivory color by Panerai is a personification of elegance. The ivory color gives this piece a different value and look. The seconds counter at 9 o'clock, and 12 lines are just perfect. A recognized watch is a bonus to the personality. The 42 mm dial with an overall thickness of 3.85mm looks ideal on the wrist.

Comparative The A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 and Lange 1 Daymatic (Specs & price)
The other day A. Lange & Sohne sent us two watches for review and not one, as is normal procedure. The two watches were the new blue dial Lange 1 and Lange 1 Daymatic. While the new blue dials are stunning (really they are!), we already covered them and well, without being blase about it, it’s a dial colour and we cannot say much more about this. The thing that really intrigues me, ever since the Lange 1 Daymatic was introduced back in 2010, is how these two timepieces compare. So we put them next to one another, the iconic hand-wound Lange 1 that has become so important for the brand and the newer automatic sibling named Lange 1 Daymatic. How do they compare? What are the differences and common points? And, what is your favourite? The Lange 1 was presented as one of the first four wristwatches introduced by the resurrected A. Lange & Sohne?in 1994. Together with the Arkade, the Saxonia and the Tourbillon Pour le Merite, it made history, and especially the Lange 1, which b

Buying Guide - 6 new Yellow Gold Watches that Rock
When thinking of yellow gold, the first thing that may come to your mind is your parents’ or grandparents’ watch. Well, if you feel yellow gold is outdated, it might be time for a change. The status symbol of the 1960s to 1980s is making a comeback. As trends come and go, it fits perfectly in the current vintage craze – just like the unexpected comeback of the 1980s spirit in fashion and music. And interestingly, the way watchmakers use it today makes it look super chic and trendy. Here are 6 of the most notable yellow gold watches introduced recently.Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Extra-thin Yellow Gold 15202If the over-iconic Royal Oak was born a steel watch (in 1972, as the definitive Luxury Sports Watch), the yellow gold versions of the ref. 15202 presented at SIHH 2017 really rock – specifically the gold-on-gold version with champagne/gold petite tapisserie dial, gold hands and indexes. Released as a tribute to the 1977 gold Royal Oak Extra-Thin, this jumbo is f
Buying Guide - Our Favourite Watches of 2021... So Far
Certainly, we’re only halfway through February, so it’s a bit too early to call the best watches of the year… just a bit! However, it’s only been two months and brands have presented more than just minor models. In fact, following several months of slow launch calendars, most of the watch manufactures have woken up and some very important models have been introduced in recent weeks. Some of them are truly crucial while others are updates of best-sellers. And, believe us, there’s more to come in the following months, with no fewer than 38 brands participating in Watches & Wonders in April (and that includes , Patek, Tudor, IWC and many more). But before that, we’ll take a look at five watches that really caught our attention in 2021.?Note: to discover all the new models introduced in 2021, check this dedicated section of the website.?Bvlgari Octo Finissimo S Steel Silvered DialThe Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Automatic is a watch that needs no introduc
Inside the IWC Manufacturing Centre and the 'MY IWC' 8-Year Warranty Program - VIDEO
If you want to get a good understanding of a watch company, visiting the manufacture is really something you should plan. This is how you truly discover how a manufacture builds its watches, defines quality, and find out what is made “in-house”. IWC was born from an industrial vision, as F.A. Jones set up his manufacture next to the river Rhine. Here, he could combine American production methods, hydro-power from the river and Swiss watchmaking skills. IWC Schaffhausen recently opened its new, and very impressive “Manufacturing Centre”. IWC has invested heavily in building a large portfolio of movements in these new production facilities. This is key for the brand to be able to innovate and to have total control over its quality. Ad - Scroll to continue with article Join us inside the
