This creation by Panerai is a unique one. Luminor Marina Logo wins the market by its wall clock, which is made in a stainless steel case with a diameter of 350 mm. Its black dial features white numerals, which add aesthetics to the whole watch. Perhaps the best thing about it is the OP logo, which is set at 6:00, with the small second sub-dial located at 9:00, which adds to the overall look.

Watches Spotted Both On and Off the court at the 2020 Australian Open
The 2020 Australian Open is well underway in Melbourne and we have seen some major upsets in the first week of the tournament. Serena Williams was knocked out in three sets to China's Qiang Wang. This leaves Williams still chasing a record-equalling 24th Grand Slam title. Fifteen-year-old American teenage sensation Coco Gauff knocked out Japanese defending champion Naomi Osaka, in straight sets. In terms of watches, there were some interesting pieces on and off the court.Serena Williams brought back her customized left-handed quartz Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Ref. #67540OK.ZZ.A010CA.01, which she wore on the left wrist during her matches.Photo by Recep Sakar/Anadolu Agency via Getty ImagesNaomi Osaka is sponsored by Citizen and wore a new limited-edition Citizen Eco-Drive Naomi Osaka Model with a 36mm titanium case, blue dial and a yellow rubber strap, which Osaka chose as it resembles the colour of a tennis ball. First Look: The 2mm Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon is the new Worlds Thinnest Tourbillon
One field of expertise immediately comes to mind when thinking about Piaget: the art of crafting ultra-thin watches. Throughout its history, the brand has become synonymous with legendary calibres, such as the 2mm thin 9P introduced in 1957 and the 2.3mm thin 12P micro-rotor movement unveiled in 1960. Approximately a decade ago, the groundbreaking 900P heralded a radical reengineering of watch architecture, seamlessly fusing the mainplate with the caseback. This innovation laid the groundwork for the creation of the Altiplano Ultimate Concept, unveiled in 2018 at a mere 2mm thickness, making it the thinnest mechanical watch ever produced at the time. As the brand celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2024, a milestone to mark that date was to be expected. The latest iteration of the AUC, the Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon, retains its remarkable 2mm profile, a hallmark of its predecessors. However, it now boasts the addition of a tourbillon, making it the thinnest tourbillon watch
Up In The Air - Flying High With 5 Aviation Inspired Watches From Baselworld 2017 - Monochrome Watches
Legend has it that at the beginning of the 20th century, Louis Cartier designed a wristwatch for aviation pioneer Alberto Santos-Dumont because of the inconvenience of using a pocket watch while flying. The Santos was one of the earliest wristwatches and the first pilot watch. Born out of practicality, the watches intended for pilots have evolved - in fact, the original Santos had very little to do with a flight tool' watch.Pilot watches cannot be rigidly defined but have certain elements in common. They are built for legibility and functionality above all else. Common characteristics include; contrasting dials with highly legible numbers and oversized crowns for ease of operation. We have picked 5 aviation inspired watches from Baselworld 2017 that will look good both in the air and on the ground.Naturally, this list of five models is non-exhaustive. Watches are ordered by price in ascending order. Ad - Scroll to continue with article
Seiko Prospex Automatic Diver Padi Samurai SRPB99J1 - Review (Specs & Price)
Back in 2017, Seiko treated us to a nice surprise by reintroducing one of its most iconic watches: the Samurai. Praised by many enthusiasts, tested and certified as a reliable dive watch, updated for 2017 with slight evolutions and new colours, there was not much to complain about… Except maybe for the lack of a PADI edition. Well, the brand has come through for fans and the “warrior” can now be ordered in the super-cool blue and red combination dear to PADI editions. Meet the?Seiko Prospex Automatic Diver “PADI Samurai” SRPB99J1.Author’s note: the Seiko SRPB99J1 in the article is my personal watch, purchased a few days ago. I deliberately chose to wear it on a NATO strap instead of the steel bracelet delivered with the watch. I’ll explain why later, but for the record, this?“PADI Samurai” SRPB99J1 is normally delivered with a bracelet. Ad - Scroll to continue with article
TUDOR Announces Agreement With World Rugby, Reinforcing The Brands #BornToDare Campaign - Monochrome Watches
After welcoming David Beckham and Lady Gaga?as brand ambassadors and members of the #BornToDare campaign, followed by a partnership with world-famous rugby team the “All Blacks”, Tudor continues to expand its association in this direction, and today, in Monaco, the brand?announced a new agreement, this time with World Rugby, which includes a partnership with Rugby World Cups (and more), to reinforce the link between Tudor and the oval ball. This announcement?comes on top of the #BornToDare Campaign that was announced earlier this year (at Baselworld 2017.) It was not something that was expected, however Tudor is a growing brand and is reaching out to new audiences. In this field, teaming up with David Beckham and Lady Gaga were already significant steps, and these were soon followed by the announcement that it would be teaming up with the?leading rugby team The All Blacks, and actually, this makes sense. As a brand that focuses on a relatively young target group, they have t
