This super watch from Panerai has quite a decent look that makes it an excellent pick for a casual event! The dial is of rusty black color with mixed index type. A glimmering scratch-proof sapphire crystal glass is used to make the dial. The titanium material is used to design the bracelet for a classic appearance. Furthermore, it has a manual winding movement. The bezel is made from stainless steel to keep the watch looking as fresh as new.

In-Depth - A Complete Guide To The A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk
While today’s watchmakers offer a wide variety of timepieces without the hour and minute hands most of us are accustomed to, one collection of modern Haute Horlogerie stands out in particular. We are talking, of course, about the A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk, with its rather unique jumping digital time display. And since the brand has just released an updated version of the classic Zeitwerk, it's time to have a closer look at the entire collection, from its creation in 2009 to the very latest watch presented in 2022.? Ad - Scroll to continue with article Of all the alternatives to traditional hands and dials, a digital indication, also known as an aperture indication or jumping display, is considered by many the most pleasing esthetically. This way of telling the owner what time it is was popular in pocket watches of the past; in the 1960s, “digital
Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Smoked Dial & Two-Tone Case Hands-On
One year ago, Audemars Piguet launched what is probably its most important watch in the last 25 years: the two other major launches were the 1972 Royal Oak and the 1993 Royal Oak Offshore. An entirely new collection, a watch that we described as “the discreet Audemars Piguet, made for accomplished collectors” in our review, a watch with important new movements… and a watch that also generated frenzied discussions! Maybe Code 11.59 wasn’t bold enough. Maybe it was too discreet. Certainly, it has been misunderstood. A week ago, Audemars Piguet revealed a spiced-up, bolder take on the watch with new smoked lacquered dials and two-tone cases. The inaugural version of the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet, with a monochromatic lacquered dial with a polished surface. While we’ve already introduced this new sub-collection of no fewer than 10 references, we had the opportunity to have a hands-on session with most of the models. As you know, press images rarely do justic
Introducing the Arnold & Son Longitude Titanium Sports-Integrated Collection
No brand, it seems, is immune to the allure of the luxury sports watch, sporty-chic watches with integrated bracelets. The latest brand to dip its toe into the highly infested luxury sports watch waters is Arnold & Son, which introduces its first integrated sports watch at Watches and Wonders 2024. Christened the Longitude in honour of John Arnold’s historical marine chronometers, the layout of the first model echoes these historical pieces with its power reserve display at noon and small seconds at 6 o’clock. Not only does the layout evoke the marine chronometers of its famous ancestor, but the new automatic movement is a COSC-certified chronometer. While luxury sports watches have long been the domain of high-end watch brands, – with the Royal Oak, the Nautilus and the Overseas or VC 222, and the Laureato being the main names to come to mind – many high-end independent watchmakers have taken on the challenge – names like Czapek with its Antarctique, L
Only Watch 2015 - Unique Chopard Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 Mark Webber - Monochrome-Watches
When it comes to racing-oriented watches, Chopard has an interesting legitimacy to offer to watch lovers. Besides the Mille Miglia collection (that has been renewed this year with a quite cool design and in-house movements), the brand also has another highly masculine and robust collection, the Superfast. This chronograph has already been the base for a specific edition dedicated to Porsche and the 24h of Le Mans. For Only Watch 2015, Chopard will donate a unique edition of the?Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 made together with?Le Mans driver Mark Webber. The?Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 is not a total stranger to us, as earlier this?year, Chopard came with?an edition dedicated to the Porsche 919 that won Le Mans and designed with racing-legend Jacky Ickx?and last year,?Chopard already introduced an edition of this watch, also celebrating the partnership with Porsche Racing. This year, the Superfast Chrono (we?previously introduced the?entire Superfast collection)?comes in a unique edition
Hands-On - Rado Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Diver (Specs & Price)
Captain Cook and Rado are practically synonymous. The original model was released in 1962 as a 37mm diver with a water resistance of 200 metres. Although a stylish and very capable diver, it didn't find success like counterparts from Blancpain, and Seiko did in the mid-20th century. However, it was reintroduced in 2017 and has since become a hero collection for the brand. Although the aesthetic is vintage-inspired, Rado recently introduced high-tech ceramic for the case and bracelet, such as last year's Captain Cook High-Tech Plasma Ceramic. There are six new ceramic models with a contemporary size and materials for 2022.?Matte cases are available in high-tech ceramic or high-tech plasma ceramic, both an established speciality for Rado. The plasma ceramic is placed in an oven with gases activated at 20,000¡ãC to create a metallic sheen. Dimensions for all cases are 43mm in diameter and 14.6mm in height (49.8mm lug-to-lug), which follows some of last year's models. All cases have a mon
