This is another stunningly complex piece by Zenith. The open worked dial has an extremely intricate design. The outer rim of the dial is a dark blue, and it displays the minute markers whereas the hour markers and the hands of the watch are silver toned. The strap of the watch is made from blue crocodile patterned leather with a double folding clasp.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin Openworked 16204BC
Initially introduced in 2022 as part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations of the Royal Oak, the Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin Openworked was first released in steel (reference 16204ST), featuring a steel-grey skeletonized movement and contrasting pink gold hands and indices. Following this, the watch was also made available in pink, yellow and white?gold cases. While the steel version is no longer available, the gold-cased references are not designated as limited anniversary editions, making them available based on production capacity. As such, they may be purchased directly from the brand but keep in mind; conditions apply.Though the coloured gold versions are undeniably striking - especially the pink gold variant with its contrasting openworked dark grey dial - it is the sleek white metal version of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak “Jumbo” Extra-Thin Openworked that continues to captivate and excite. Thus, we felt it was time for another report on our experience w
Introducing: The AP Code 11.59 Flying Tourbillon Chronograph in new Shades of Grey
Introduced in 2020, a year after the debut of the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet collection, the Flying Tourbillon Chronograph's combination of two complications with an openworked dial was designed to showcase the brand's high-end watchmaking skills. The latest iteration of this model comes in a two-tone white gold and black ceramic case and an openworked dial in different shades of grey.?Like all Code 11.59 pieces, the 41mm case with its 13.8mm thickness is more complex than meets the eye. Paying tribute to the iconic profile of the Royal Oak, the middle case is octagonal. In this new edition, the case middle is crafted in sleek, high-tech black ceramic with a satin-brushed finish executed by hand. The extra-thin round bezel, the stylised and hollowed lugs surmounting the case, the pushers and the crown are white gold with brushed surfaces and polished bevels. For a sportier attitude, the crown has a black ceramic grip, and the strap is dark grey and rubber-coated with a textile patte
IN DEPTH: The Omega Flightmaster - The Special One - Monochrome Watches
The recent announcement of the revamped Speedmaster MkII from Omega seems to highlight a return to the company's glorious past- and rightly so, in my honest opinion, since Omega has a large number of design gems in its vaults. However, it was the introduction of the Z-33 spacemaster that made me want to dig some more and present to you the highly radical Flightmaster, a watch that, when it was introduced in 1969, was considered way ahead of its time. Maybe it still is….The 1960’s undoubtedly were hugely important for the Swiss watch industry; this was a memorable decade for chronographs and the other “tool” watches. The watch became the symbol of the adventurous human spirit, being worn by drivers and their crews when they went racing; by pilots as they broke speed and altitude records; by international travelers as they crossed the time zones of the world; by divers doing underwater exploration; by the adventurers as they climbed the tallest peaks. The Patek Philippe Aquanaut Chronograph 5968G, now in White Gold Versions - Monochrome Watches
The Aquanaut stands out for being a casual-chic Patek Philippe purpose-built for an active lifestyle. Introduced in 1997, It was the first Patek Philippe to feature a rubber strap, and it has been a staple for the brand ever since. In 2018 came the first Aquanaut with a chronograph movement with the reference 5968A. Following on what can be considered a blend of styles by Patek Philippe, the collection now expands with new colours and a new material with two references. Meet the Patek Philippe Aquanaut Chronograph 5968G-001 and 5968G-010.Back in 2018 Patek Philippe surprised many with the launch of the Aquanaut Chronograph 5968A, a spruced-up colourful interpretation of the Aquanaut. It marked the first time a chronograph movement would become available in the Aquanaut family and it remains part of the collection today. The vibrant orange rubber strap (with an optional black one), orange markings on the chronograph counter and orange set of hands might be polarizing, but make no mistak
Montblanc Meisterstuck Heritage Automatic (Photos, Specs and Price) - Monochrome Watches
When Montblanc unveiled the entirely new Meisterstuck Heritage collection at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH), in January of this year, everyone – and I mean EVERYONE – from the press, collectors, and even the competitors, was very much impressed and talking about it. Especially the Meisterstuck Heritage Perpetual Calendar, the most affordable perpetual calendar on the market, was talk of the town during this 5-days luxury watch fair in Geneva. The other day we gotto spend some time with the ‘simplest’ scion of the family, the Montblanc Meisterstuck Heritage Automatic.?The Meisterstuck Heritage Automatic is probably regarded by most people as a dress watch. It’s round, with a clean and classic design, just two hands for hours and minutes, and no date window that disfigures the dial. So far that’s in line with?our description of what a dress watch is. However, how does it hold up against the most pure, classic, dress watch of them
