The new Longines Spirit 37mm Collection (Specs & Price)
The vintage-inspired Longines Spirit pilot's watches launched in 2020 with 40mm and 42mm case sizes, and featured COSC automatic movements and a choice of time/date or chronograph models. The collection celebrated the pilots, military personnel and sportsman that relied on Longines throughout its history. The latest release introduces a more universal size for both men and women, coming in at 37mm with three dial colours – including a new and rather attractive Champagne option. The dials are time and date only (no chronograph), but maintain the popular style of their predecessors with a unisex appeal. Let’s take a look at the Longines Spirit 37mm.Longines Spirit CollectionLongines has a popular Heritage collection that recalls key models from its historic portfolio. The Legend Diver and Avigation BigEye are examples of these re-editions. The Longines Spirit collection is also vintage-inspired, but introduces new designs that don't directly borrow from the past. First Look: The new Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Nonantieme Enamel
Since 1991, Jaeger-LeCoultre has marked each new decade of the Reverso with a special edition, beginning with the Soixantieme, which celebrated the model's 60th anniversary. Introduced in 1931, the Reverso remained a time-only watch until this milestone edition became the first to feature complications. A decade later, the Septantieme showcased the brand's expertise in movement manufacturing and aesthetic design. It was the first Reverso to feature an extra-large case, an 8-day power reserve, and a beautifully finished white gold movement visible through the reverse side. Fast forward to 2021, the Reverso Nonantieme marked the collection's 90th anniversary, and this year, it returns in a striking new variation, the Reverso Tribute Nonantieme Enamel.?This newest edition of the Reverso Tribute Nonantieme maintains the same 49.4mm x 29.9mm x 11.72mm pink gold case, adorned with the signature gadroons above and below the dial. Now presented in a refined grey sunray finish, the front dial r
Montblanc Heritage Perpetual Calendar LE100 Rose Gold Brown dial
Among Montblanc's releases during Watches & Wonders 2021 is a new version of its Heritage Perpetual Calendar. The novelty here is the new warm brown dial colour described by the brand as burnt caramel. Like its 2019 predecessor, the new?Montblanc Heritage Perpetual Calendar captures the spirit of historical Minerva timepieces and is powered by the brand's patented and proprietary automatic calibre MB 29.22.The Heritage collection was born in 2014 when Jer?me Lambert took the helm of Montblanc. The idea was to offer a selection of complications with a dash of vintage appeal and affordable prices. The Meisterstuck Heritage Perpetual Calendar, powered by a Sellita movement with a Dubois Depraz module on top, was in its day, one of the most affordable QPs on the market. Although its price was attractive, the 2014 QP had its detractors who didn't like the empty dial and the sub-counters clustered in the centre. In 2019, the Heritage line was revisited with a new design focus based on hi
Introducing: The Gradient Green Oris Divers Sixty-Five Date 40mm
While the Aquis, which has been recently revised, represents the modern side of dive watches at Oris, the Divers Sixty-Five collection is, as you might have guessed by the name, its vintage-inspired counterpart. An instrumental model for the brand’s recent history, the ’65 has been presented in dozens of editions, with manufacture movement, a chronograph, original colours or compact cases. And it keeps surprising with a new and appealing version that combines handsome forest green hues with an all-rounder size and classic automatic movement.?Originally presented in 2015 and modelled after a historical watch of 1965, the Oris Divers Sixty-Five quickly became a hit for the brand. The first model of the relaunch measured 40mm, featured a date at 6 o’clock and mostly, came with a highly original dial with trapezoidal markers. The brand somehow softened this polarizing look in the following years, with a more classic dial layout and a date at 3 o’clock, housed in a 4
Introducing the Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Collection Excellence Platine - Monochrome Watches
In the past years Vacheron Constantin has been harmonizing their collections, yet within the new line-up they kept some room for one very special collection, comprising only platinum watches. This is the Collection Platine Excellence and the newest piece within that collection is the Patrimony Collection Platine Excellence. Like the other models in the Collection Platine Excellence, it features the distinctive sand-blasted platinum dial that adds an ‘understated cool’ to it. The Patrimony that we’re looking at today isn’t exactly new, as it already exists in the Patrimony collection, albeit in 18k pink or white gold (with creme/eggshell or slate grey dial). Like most of its siblings in this collection, its name is just “Patrimony” plus a reference number, so it doesn’t carry a “Small Seconds” binomial as in the past. It’s just “Patrimony” and although this one has a small second sub dial, there are also models with
